its really a good choice for planning for an Archeology field ,you have to pass 12th with any stream to get into archeology , here is some more information for higher studies in archeology



Eligibility and Duration of B.A. Archeology

The minimum educational qualification required to pursue a under graduate level course in archeology is 10+2 from a recognized board. The duration of the course is three years.

Eligibility Criteria for M.A. Archeology Course

You must have passes 10+2 from a recognized school or educational institute.
You should be graduate with history background with minimum 55% marks.
Admission test and personal interview.The duration for M.A. Archeology Course2 years
