Re: Which stream should I opt after 10th to become a Chartered Accountant in Future?

    Hi,

It's good to see that you are planning for career so early in life.

CA is one of the most reputed professions.

For giving the CA CPT exam, which is the entrance exam to CA course students of any stream can apply.

But it is advisable that if you are sure that you want to do CA or some commerce related course you should choose Commerce stream in 11th & 12th.

Studying Commerce in 10+2 would help you create a basic knowledge of Accounts, economics & other subjects.

This basic knowledge would help you in clearing the CPT and further exams of CA course with ease if you understand the concepts.

    Best of luck

    Hello friend,

To pursue CA, the candidate must have passed the +2 level of examination in any stream conducted by a recognized institute. After qualifying the +2 level of examination, candidates are eligible to write CPT(Competency Professional Test) conducted by ICAI.

so there is no particular stream to do CA, its advantageous if you get into commerce group.

    Eligibility for exemption from CPT.

    Commerce graduates with 50% marks
Non-commerce graduates with 55% marks (without maths)
Non-commerce graduates with Maths with 60%.

    Course

The CA course has been divided into three stages.
    Competency Professional Test (CPT)
    Professional Competency Course (PCC)
    Final Course
    Practical training prescribed by ICAI
100 Hours of Information Technology Training
    3½ years of articled training
General Management and Communication Skills Course

For further information, please visit the official website of ICAI.

    GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Re: Which stream should I opt after 10th to become a Chartered Accountant in Future?

    hai ,,,,,,,,
dear good question dear , you have a bright future because generally every student thinks about their future only after the 12th or in the ending stage of their studies ,
finally they will be the looser, today in india and in world wide every one are in search of CA professionals,
but there are lack of charted accountants to meet the demand.
you have to go for commerce back ground after your 10th
in your intermediate you have to choose MEC to study ,
you have to learn commerce, accounting ,and mathematics for good future,
    •whole time service,
    •whole time practice,
    •part time service/part time practice
    •business/entrepreneurship
    •in industry

you have to cross three stages to complete this course
    •stage1:-CPT (common proficiency test)
    •stage2:-IPCC(integrated professional competence course)
    •stage3:-articleship and final course

mainly you have to cross the CPT exam,
this entry level exam is much more important to you ,
this objective type paper which carries 200 multiple choice questions.
    THE SYLLABUS FOR THE CPT.
•fundamentals of accounting,:- this carries 60 marks
•merchant laws :-this carries 40 marks , you have to attempt in two hours
    •general economics:-50 marks
•quantitative aptitude:- 50 marks , you have to attempt this two in two hours.

AND YOU HAVE TO GET 50% OF MARKS TO PASS.
than you can go for IPCC, after passing at least one group in IPCC level you are going to enter into the articleship
the duration of the course in articleship is 3 years.
after that you are going to enter the final level that is CA.
    TOP INSTITUTES FOR THE CA
    • Indian school of business management -Ludhiana,kochi, Indore, Gwalior.
    • NMCC-mumbai,
    • Siddhartha academy ,-mumbai.
    • gurushikar institute -Jaipur.
    • ICWAI-KOLKATA,
    • navkar institute -Ahmadabad.
    • T.I.M.E-SECUNDRABAD.

you are going to spend only 1,50,000 -2,50,000 for this course.
and you are going to be beniffited a lot.

Re: Which stream should I opt after 10th to become a Chartered Accountant in Future?

    Hi

you can opt for Ca exam after taking up any stream in 12th.

But studying Coomerce in 11th and 12th is better for the preparation of CA exams.

After qualifying the +2 level of examination, you will be eligible to write CPT(Competency Professional Test) conducted by ICAI.

The minimum course duration as per the regulations of the institution is
    CA_CPT — 3 months
The course duration is the minimum time that a student has to spend on taking up the course at this level. It is the period starting from the time the student gets registered to the time the student completes the course.

The actual time that a student has to spend on the course is dependent on the actual date of registration.

The main/final examinations for the course are conducted four times every year in the months of February, May, August and November, generally on specified dates which do not change except under extraordinary circumstances.
    CA_CPT
    February Examination -

    May Examination -

    August Examination -

    November Examination -

The CA course at the CPT (Common Proficiency Test) level is made up of an objective type examination of 4 hours duration divided into 2 sessions of 2 hours each. Each session consists of two subjects with a total marks of 100. The examination is a multiple choice examination with negative marking.
    ca,icwa,cs,cima,icma,acca,cpa,accounting,professio n
To pass a student has to obtain a total of 50% marks in all the papers together.

Every student intending to take up the CA course has to get through this level.

    Subjects
    Session I
Section A : Fundamentals of Accounting
    Section B : Mercantile Laws
    Session II
    Section C : General Economics
    Section D : Quantitative Aptitude

its best subject to crack CA entrance!

YOU HAVE TO CRACK 3 EXAMS

    2.IPCC

    3.IPCC FINAL

in all you need to study differnt subject but they get resemble with comm as well as maths .

    Hi friend,

Well as you know that the profession of chartered accountancy is regulated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India , so for becoming an CA in future you must follow steps what i am mentioning here. You will be aware that Chartered Accountants work in all fields of business and finance, including audit, taxation, financial and general management. Some are engaged in public practice work, others work in the private sector and some are employed by government bodies.

This course involves 3 different stages :

    >>CPT
    >> IPCC
    >> Final course, one need to qualify in particular levels separately to become a Chartered Accountant.

    >As a first stage you should appear for CPT exam after 12th class, clearing this entry level test will make you eligible for IPCC.

    >Graduates are exempted from CPT exam and can directly appear for IPCC level.

    > Successful in CPT will entitle you for next level for which you need to complete article ship training for 3 years. (You can join for final course in CA after completing IPCC and article ship training as well.)

Well, just after 12th follow those steps i mentioned up there and you will find yourself comfortable in proceedings.

    Hope it helps you!!
