In order to get in to the field of astrophysics, you should take up science as the main subject after 10th class. You should take Physics and Mathematics as main subjects in the 12th class. You can opt for a graduate course in the same subject area after 12th class. You can either take up Physics/Mathematics at the graduate level. There are many reputed colleges which offer graduation courses in astrophysics. After successfully completing the graduate studies, you can opt for Post graduate studies in the same subject area. You can attend the joint entrance examination after securing Masters Degree to join the PhD course.
