You can choose any stream in 11th class to become an IAS officer in future. There are no such specifications that you should be specialized in a particular subject area for attending Civil services exam. Graduation is the main qualification required for applying for Civil services exam. Graduation should be secured from a recognized institute or university. You can select any subject area for pursuing graduation. The upper age limit for attending this exam is 30 years. You should attend the Civil service exam conducted by UPSC as part of selection criteria.

    My dear friend

You can choose any stream in11TH.but Arts group is better for IAS exams.
After intermendiate you can go for in degree administration subject it will help you.
Any graduation is enough for IAS.But IAS means INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE.If you have already subject administration is easily you can understand.
This is my opinion you are interested in which side you go for that side....
