First of all you need to decide which field is more interesting for you. You can decide based on subjects you prefer studying and score well. You also need to decide the kind of job you would enjoy doing. In the science field you have various options like going in for MBBS, Dental, Engineering, BSc in various areas like Biology, Physics, Biochemistry etc. In the commerce field you can go in for Accountancy jobs, Banking, trading etc. You also have options like going into the teaching or research field. You need to decide now as it is important that you choose the correct option. If you choose the field that interest you will be able to make a successful career.

Choosing a stream in the +2 is a very cruicial decition which each student will have to go through. This decission will have to be taken by the student itself after evaluating all the possible career options available for each subject and also personnel intrest. Each student have individual preferences and apptitude, according to which a streams should be selected. Science is the most prefered subject at +2 level, as it gives students wide options and career choices later on. If you choose science you can go for all degree courses you prefer afterwards. You can go for medicine, engineering, B.Sc degrees, commerce degree and lots more. If cantidates choose to do commerce of arts subject they will be limited to this field of study only. Consult with friends, teachers and family members as to get a wide view of openion. This will help you to get good guidance and walk you to the prefect option suitable for you.

does answer says that commerce provides u with options. but with science its not so sure that u'll be selected in eng.,med,but for commerce u have more of job prospects

Look the most important thing is your interest level in the subject.
Do a planned thinking . are you comfortable with complicated mathematical formulae and derivations and theories.
As a science student you will really have to put a lot of time studying all these things .
Would you be able to give such long sittings ?
This is really important because you know many of the guys just take science because there friends take science or parents tell them to.
Or they think that good job oppourtunities are only available after becomong a engineer or a doctor.
And believe i am seeing many engineers unemployed today because they dont have the technical knowledge to get employed.
So go for commerce if you like to play with numbers and have a inclination towards finance, buisness, law etc.
Becoming CA (Charted accountant ) is the most respectable and good earning job today( i am saying this even though i am a engineer).
So think a many times dude before taking any decision.
Your whole life will depend on this.

Both have definitely bright future but since you cannot opt. for both its time for you to decide very carefully and get as much help as you can. But since you are in class 10 I would opt. you to to take science stream with both biology and mathematics then even after class 12 you can still have wider option. But this is just an opinion and it will be best for you to carry on the stream which you think you have the capability. Hope you take the right decision.

Both science and commerce stream is good. Actually student are very confused that what i do after 10th std., what course/subject choose after 10th class.
Science and commerce both are interested field and both are best. You can choose any one of them according to your interest not by other interest.
In both field you will get a bright future. If you choose science courses then after this you can do engineering course or many other course. So i advise you
to choose the stream according to your interest. It will be batter for you.

firstly i would like to happy to see that how much you aware on your future life, from my point of view, first you should examine what u like to do and not like to do, also see the nature of work that you are wish to do, and what is your aptitude ? these primary question are important for you to decide whether to join Science or in commerce,
i can say that there is no better stream for better future unless you know your self very well, after that you will get the real stream that will have you the better career,by the way get suggestion from every where but you should decide by your self,,,,

Its depend on your interest dear....if you are interested in life science study then you can choose science stream as it ll take you to be doctor line n many much lines related science and if you are much interest in management then try commerce stream

SCIENCES should be preferred over commerce for better prospects in life

all what you need is introspect yourself to know your interested field of study. as science and commerce have their own career prospects, and are just like two sides of a coin. still i would like to throw some light on the prospects served by both these streams.

if you take up science ,with physics, chemistry and maths, you can appear for PET, AIEEE or IIT to pursue Bachelors in Engineering in any desired field,after which you can do your post graduation as a Master Of Business Administration (MBA) and if you have taken physics, chemistry and biology, you can appear for PMT and take up MBBS, BAMS, BHMS or BDS. you can also pursue Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Genetics, Forensic Science, Clinical Nutrition, etc., after which you can take up Masters in the same field of study so that you can thoroughly get acquainted with your specialization. can also try for qualifying as an astronaut, pilot, or for indian defence services.
if you take up commerce, then the best you can pursue is Chartered Accountancy as a bright career or can also strive to become a Cost and Works Accountant.
you can also take up arts to study further in literature, civics. can also go to civil services qualifying UPSC.
other than these academic courses, you can also explore your field of interest as a career, such as, Hotel management, professional photography, bank management, fashion or interior designing, mass communication, journalism, etc.
if sports fascinate you, it can also be taken up as a career.

after 10th you may proceede for science for better future because after selecting science you can get admition in engineering and also in medical branch

you should choose science if you are good in Pysics and Math
If you are good in Math Then you can also choose commerce

Be careful this is the time to take your decision seriously .

If you have answer to them then solution is there with you.

Opt for Science if you are exceptionally good in Mathematics or ther Science subject, other wise skip because at present the Technical field in India has become highly competitive. If you want a seat in Engineering, Medical other technical courses you have to compete for that and only the best one can able to go through that. You should have the capability of leaving far behind hundreds of student behind yourself to grab a seat in Institutes and Colleges.

Otherwise go for commerce. A easy and fast way to earn sooner and better. This field is not so highly competitive as Scinece. Competition are here in few domains like- CA, CS and MBA. Getting started is easy and fast as number of courses are available in this sector the best is CA, CS while the least one is nothing because all get jobs. A much easier approach towards building a better and easy career.

As a science student you can give exams AIPMT , AIIMS , AFMC , VMMC , BHU PMT , etc .

As an engineering student you can go for the AIEEE , IIT - JEE etc.

These two sectors are highly competitive and needs a lot of hard work.

As a commercial student , you can go for the CA , MBA , Banking , Accountant etc . which are less competitive and also you can earn early.

commerce field dont have much career opportunities but the competition is very less. It's really very difficult to become CA until you are dam dedicated to become. If you choose science that's not very difficult one and also there are many opportunities .you can settle much faster. Now a days every one are opting for science. If you are a hardwoking student then go for the field that is unique like CA, MBA etc

After 10th, you have ‘N’ no. of options available like, but dear it depends on your interest and quality of marks obtained:-
If you choose Science/Maths then after +2 you can go for engineering, aviation, railway, technicians
If you pursue commerce with maths, then C.A., C.S., b.com and if you take commerce with computers, then you do professional courses like B.B.A, B.C.A

but according to the present scenario, commerce has more opportunities

This solely depends on your interest which field you want to choose.Both streams have equally good job opportunities and scope in future.If you are interested in something then it won't be a problem for you to earn good money in that subject.If you like studying Physics,Chemistry and chemicals and atoms and particles interest you then science is the subject for you.If you do not like these and find business,finances,Accounts and commercial activities interesting then commerce is the choice for you.Engineering and medical are the major options after science stream for which you will have to give various state and national level entrance exams with a minimum of 60% aggregate.Commerce has options such as BBA,CA-CPT,Actuarial Science,B.Com,etc.
