then u can tk computer science in ur subjects in class 11th.
after 12th u can go for B.tech in cse, IT,

Can I become Software Engineer after 12 after doing Intermediate in Computer Studies?

Science and commerce both fields are good in its own position.You will not face any problem if you choose any subject of them.But as you are telling that you are interested to go for the Software field.Then I think science will be more good for you.Because after studying this subject in your +1, you can be familiar with your graduation course more easily by this subject, As comparison to the Commerce subject.I am not here saying that commerce is not good.But as per your requirement Science group will be more Beneficial for you.
So take the science subject and create your future good.

In 12th class among commerce and science the best course which gives or provides you opportunity on the career basis is science straem.In science if you are from CBSE you have to choose PCM.If you are from other state course then you must choose mpc which is a combination of maths physics chemistry.So, if you take up these groups you will be perfectly able to face the entrance exams like :

• IIT-JEE
• AIEEE
• CET- of regional states.

These all consists of the subjects maths,physics,chemistry,general knowledge and english.So, better take up these groups.If you qualify the above exams you will enter into engineering stream wherein for software purpose you must choose either of the following subjects :

• CSE (COMPUTER SCIENCE)
• IT (INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY)
• ECE (ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATION)

The above courses will help you settle in good software field.

To become a software engineer you have to do b.tech in either in compute science(C.S.E) trade or in Information technology (I.T).Thus you need to choose non medical or combine stream in +2 so that you can got eligibility to admitted in B.tech course.You have another option to do diploma in computer science trade(C.S.E) then you can took admission in b.tech through lateral entry after completing diploma .If you have commerce field then for moving towards computers field you have an option to take admission in B.C.A.

Soft ware engineer has a lot of prospects now a days.
You can easily build a good future if you become a software engineer
To become a software engineer you have to learn physics,maths and chemistry ie, you have to take science stream for your 12th class.Along with this you have to take computer science also in your 11th and 12th class.
Commerce stream will not help you to fulfill your dream
Therefore i suggest you to take science stream alongwith computer science in your 12th

2. choose B.tech option after 12th.
3. choose IT field in B.tech.

Well , by your tone, I am sure that you are a student of 10 or below than it.

Well, For software engineering, Always trades like Science excel.

Since after Science, you will be able to get a degree in Engineering's Computer Science/IT trade.

But for that you must choose Science(Maths) in 12th.

Eligibility for becoming a Software Engineer :

>> You must have passed 12th with minimum 40% marks

>> You must have Maths , and Physics as your subjects , Third subject maybe :
> Computers
> Chemistry
etc

>> And aggregate in Physics + Maths + optional subjects must be less than 40%.

Commerce field is for those guys who wants to take an early entry in world of Marketing,etc

As you want to make your career in Software engineering field, So science stream is must for you.
If you choose science stream then you can do engineering in the various streams in order to become software engineer . You can do B.Tech in the following streams-

Computer Science and Engineering
Information Technology
Electronics and Communication Engineering.

But if you will choose Commerce stream then there is no courses available for you to becoming a software engineer.

That's why I will suggest you to choose Science stream for fulfilling your dream to become a software engineer.

you want to become a software engineer.
to become a software engineer you must have to choose science stream.
after choose science stream you will able to give engineering exam.
after complete 12th class you have to give entrance exam like as
JEE
AIEEE
RPET
KECET
BITS
BHU
PCET
etc.
these are engineering exam you can give.
some exams are national level or some are state level.
after clear this exam you have to choose CS or IT branch.
After complete B.tech you will find job..
After get job you will be software engineer.
you can do computer course after choose commerce stream but after complete graduation and post graduation degree you will not called software engineer.

After any field, science or commerce you can go for software filed and for software engineer.
But in my opinion you have to choose science with maths means non medical because after non-medical yur maths part will be strong and it will help you in future.
For become software engineer you have to do MCA.
MCA stands for Masters in Computer Application.
It is a three years post graduation course.
But before MCA you have to complete your graduation from any field, but i suggest you to go with BCA.
BCA stands for Bachelor in Computer Application.
It is a three year course.

Then, you must choose Science Stream in 10+2.

You must choose subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science in 11 and 12.

In this way, you will learn some programming language in Computer Science.
