YES STATE RANK IS VERY MUCH IMPORTANT IN AIEEE..... ADMISSION ARE DONE ON THE BASIS OF YOUR STATE RANK AND MARKS OBTAINED ONLY.......

i think you might be wrongly informed. state rank is for those who join in their own states and have some luck. for example, if your state rank is 9200 and air is 18500, then in your state the students will be selected firstly based on the air and then only state rank will be applicable. if in your state, the rank for air is finished within 18000 and you can get a seat there itself with your state rank as 50 percent of seats will be allocated for your state students iff more students from other states has applied to your college in your state.then you can get a seat in your state itself. but dont try other state colleges as your reservation of seats will be less. but if u get a nice score you can try that colleges also.

Yes, of course state rank is important in AIEEE. If you have score a good marks at state level then you may get good college within that state.

The state rank helps in getting admission into colleges outside one's own home state.
Each college has a fixed number of seats for students from other states. Typically, the number is 2-3 (for larger states or may be only 1 for the smaller ones!) for a class size of 75 or so.

Each college has some fixed quota for its own state as well as for other states, if you have good state rank you may get admission under this quota.

it will not work in the national counseling bt if the seat of institute of ur state is vacant and hv given preference to this institute u will be given the priorty

Yes state rank is very important because if your state rank is good then you can get admission easily in your state itself ,AIEEE marks should be good ,If you get around 20000 in your AIEEE then your state quota marks will be a bit high and the college which you can not get from AIEEE counselling ,you can get through state rank if that college exist in your state .So you need to have good rank in your AIEEE to get a good state rank ...

every state's nit has some state quota for its state's students, wich will be helpful for u to take admission in your own states's nit.

important. If your rank in the AIEEE exam is upto 15000 then i think you can surely get

Yes, state rank is important.
Its because , there is a rule that, 50% reservation is available to those students, if a NIT belongs to their home state.
It is not inclusive of other govt reservation.

Hi,
If you want to get into a college in your STATE ZONE then they will see your state rank but if you want to get admitted into a college out of your state then you will have to show your AIR rank.

State Rank is Important for those states students who have top colleges in their state.
In these colleges there are certain reserved for State quota. So State rank is also advantageous.
Most of NITs have an average of 35% State reservation in colleges.
Like If my state rank is Good in AIEEE than AIR I might get NIT of My State first.

Yes it is very important,suppose you are applying for a NIT which is in your own state then you will get good state quota. b this reservation you will get good branch as compared to other students who are from out side from your state.there are 85 % seats reserved for state quota and these seats will be filled by the students who belong to that state only.
