Which specialization subject to select between Politics and Economics? Is it true that Economics has more opportunities than politics? Is it a good option to select Economics even If I'm interested in Politics?

I am doing my SY BA from Pune University, many people told me to do specialization in some subjects...
I have two options Politics & Economics. Now I am confused so as to which subject should I take, as I heard that if I do specialization in economics it would be helpful in future & i will have more options. But I love politics & its easy, I have heard that there wont be much options if i select politics....... what should i do ????

    Aspirants

    >>POLITICS--

It is a process by which you can make collective decisions. The term is generally applied to the art or science of running governmental or state affairs, including behavior within civil governments, but also applies to institutions, fields, and special interest groups such as the corporate, academic, and religious segments of society. It consists of "social relations involving authority or power.

    and

    >>ECONOMICS-

It is concerned with the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services that people value. Contemporary economics is particularly concerned with the free market mediation of supply and demand. In this system, people are able to 'vote' for their individual interests by buying them, and also demonstrate how much they care by how much they are willing to spend.

    >>Also Politics can learn from economics but economics can not learn from Politics.

    >>So it ie better to you that you will study the Economics in place of politics.

    All the best
