    Re: Which specialization should I opt for MBA course if I'm from B.Tech IT background?

    MBA stands for Master Of Business Administration and MBA is a 2year PG course which has to be done only after the graduation or degree.

    It's a good decision to choose MBA after B.Tech and you will get the good job scope after doing MBA if you do it from top college and by doing your interested specialization in MBA.

    There are many specializations avail in the MBA like;

    Public Relations
    Sales & Marketing
    Business Administration
    Business Management
    Human Resources ( HR)
    Information Technology
    International Business
    Operations Management
    Construction Management
    Health Care

    But, you are asking the correct streams for your B.Tech IT. So, you can go for the following streams :

    You can go for
    MBA in IT
    MBA in Operations
    MBA in Systems
    MBA in Entrepreneurship

    The above streams are related to your stream i.e related to the computer courses which you have came across already in your B.Tech. So, it will become easy for you if you do the streams from the above.

    And to get into top MBA colleges you need to write the entrance exams like cat,mat,snap etc.

    Eligibility for the MBA is;

    You should have a degree from a recognized university.You must have atleast 50% through out your academics.

    Most companies today recruit business graduates with an MBA qualification as they have the necessary knowledge and skills for the job ahead of them.

    Rs 2.4-4.5 lakh a year

    Jobs sectors are :

    You will have the chance of getting into the following sectors after MBA

    Finance sector
    Banking sector
    Private sectors like entreprenuership,self business etc
    Marketing sector etc..
