You have mentioned that you have completed your graduation in information technology and now you want to pursue MBA that is Masters in business administration .And are confused in selecting branch of specialization .

I would suggest you to take IT as your specialization as it will widen your knowledge as you are from the same background .Even if we talk about present scenario then we will find that IT sector is at boom .I am sure this combination of yours (engineering and MBA in same field) will prove a advantage for you.

And besides this if you are still confused ,then you can decide patiently after completing your first year of MBA as all fields are taught during first year.
    Best of luck!!!

you should go for MBA It as you have completed your Engineering in IT, it will be better for you that you go for MBA in IT stream. There are a lot of job opportunities after MBA IT.
You can join any company like
    WIPRO,
    TCS,
    INFOSYS,
    ORACLE,
    ACCENTURE.
YES MY FRIEND THERE WILL BE TECHNICAL STUFF IN IT MBA.

WHILE CHOICE IS YOURS BECAUSE YOU WILL GET GOOD OPPORTUNITIES IN BOTH STREAM.

The MBA course in general will help you horne your managerial skills. For this it is important that you gain knowledge on the various aspects involved in it. If you choose to pursue a specialization in IT you will be trained to be a business analyst. For this you will need to be aware of the basics of programming. A business analyst needs to be aware of the same to understand the customer requirements and do a system design accordingly. Some of the other areas covered will be ERP, MIS, Strategic planning of information system. In the HR stream areas like Personnel and Industrial Relations, Organisation behavior etc will be covered. If you have no interest in the IT field then going for HR specialization is a good option.

My friend Information technology is the basic of everything in the world. All the work is now a days is carried out through the artificial intelligence. So IT has a great scope in future. For you being interested in mba even if you do m.tech the posts for you in the government and the IT Public sector will increase many folds.
Also if you do MBA then go with IT specialisation. I am saying this because you are already interested in and has a great knowledge already as you are a b.tech in it only so after mba with IT specialisation the jobs scope is very good for you in the future. It is somewhat non technical field because it includes just the management and business skills in IT sector. For technical jobs it is with m.tech.
So after mba you get jobs in IT industries like wipro, infosys, hcl,etc as manager, sales manager, zonal manager, asst. Manager, operations manager, etc.

    So good luck.

Both are good for you in which you have more interest you should go for that side. For doing MBA this is no matter that from which background you are. But it will be better if continue your study with the IT field so you should take admission in the MBA IT program.

    Hello,

Yes, MBA IT is the best choice to you after completing your graduation in B.Tech IT, If you do MBA then you will be having more scope to get good opportunities in your career in good companies with good packages, and here you will be having chance to enter in directly senior level management and middle level management. If you go for M.Tech then you will be having less chance to get employment opportunities in top companies and you don't have chance to get opportunities with huge packages.you will get very less packages. To get admissions in to MBA course then you have to qualify in entrance exams like CAT,MAT,GMAT,XAT,GET entrance tests, if you get more than 90 percentile then you will be having chance to get admission in to top business schools.
To apply for above entrance tests you must be completed your graduation with 50% of marks from recognized university with any stream and if you are belonging to SC and ST candidates then 45% of marks are eligible. There is no age limit to apply for this entrance exams.

Once if you complete MBA in IT then you will be having chance to get opportunities in all the IT companies, but try to do good business schools, where you will be having chance to get opportunities in the campus itself.if you come out from the institute then it will be tough to get opportunities.

MBA IT is not a Programming Course.HR Specialization is not good to You.Please go for MBA in IT Specialization.
