Re: Which specialization to choose B.Com or BBA? Difference between BBA and BMS

The B.com is said to be traditional course as compared to BBA. BBA is emerging as the most commonly chosen course by the students after 12th. This is a three year course which includes the study of management, financial and related fields. The candidates who are 12th pass in any stream can join for this. This well structured course will develop the managerial and leadership qualities in students. The students can further opt for higher studies like MBA. These students are recruited in many industries like finance, banking, consultancy, etc. B.com is a usual stream of study after 12th in commerce. It is not a professional course. But it is a basic qualification for the students who wish to pursue CA/ ICWA/ CS. The students completing B.com can also join for MBA. The B.com students can also enter various industries like junior accountant, banks, etc. As far as considered BBA and BMS are more or less the same. These courses deal with the management studies. BBA are given more preference than BMS. Both these students can choose MBA afterwards.

Sure it is important to know the difference between each of these specialisation. In B.Com you will be specialising in the commerce field. You will be trained more in financial related subjects like accountancy. A BBA covers the basics of management. There will be areas like accountancy, IT, HR etc. BMS too does cover areas similar but in terms of recognisition BBA is preferred. So you need to decide which of these interests you. You should plan your future in terms of job and career. You have various options like going in CA, CS etc after any of these courses. Also MBA is a preferred course after BBA.

B.Com course is manily concern with commerce related subjects like economics, accountancy etc.BBA is a professional course. It is concern with commerce as well as management retaled subject like finance, marketing,HR etc.BBA is given more preference because first its a professional course and also it is industry oriented. If your daughter is MBA aispriant the she should for BBA.If she wants to go for CA/CS/ICWAI then B.com would be a preferred choice.BBA and BMS are almost the same.only thing BMS is related only to management but BBA is combination of commerce, management and administration.

As she Studied Commerce in 12 th Board , then the better option is B.Com for her.
BBA means bachalor of business administration. so it is different from B.com
And there is not much difference in BMS and BBA .
littile syllabus is different in these courses.

B.com stands for bachelor of commerce and bba stands for bachelor of business administration. Eligibility for both courses is 12th in any stream. Bms stands for bachelor of management studies. Both bba and bms are almost same. Both are management related courses. So, you choose bba, because it is a famous course. After that you do mba , it is a good career option. Best of luck

BBA is a fully study of business and management.
While B.Com is much about accountancy, BBA is more simpler and lays emphasis on business administration.
Both have high value. But, BCom scale aheads then BBA as it is more about pure accountancy and, the market demand for accountants are always high.
THerefore, I would advise you to go for B.Com in accounting and finance and you may go further by doin MBA in finance which will secure a better job in investment and banking sector.
