# Solve the following mathematical problem and explain the solution clearly.

There is a rectangular garden 40m.into 35m.inside it garden 2.5m breadth road then what is the area of inside garden?

hello friend..!!

->as you said that there is the rectangular garden which is of 40m in length and 35m in breadth whereas there is a garden road inside the rectangular garden .

->but the garden road exists in condition like it is along the length side also along the breadth side.

->the area occupied by rectangular garden is length * breadth so it is 40 * 35 =1400 m.

->whereas there is a garden road whose one side is of 2.5 m and other side is not specified i.e it is not cleared and we take it any from the rectangular length or breadth.

->the area occupied by rectangular road is 2.5 *40 =100 m (according to length wise) or 2.4 * 35 =87.5 m.

->therefore the area inside the garden is either 1400-100= 1300(if road is along length side) or 1312.5 m.
