SLIET Diploma Courses Entrance Test is conducted every year for the admittance of eligible candidates to the diploma programme offered by Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Structure and Pattern of SLIET Diploma Courses Entrance Test

The SLIET entrance test will include 2 papers of 2 hours duration each. Both these two papers will comprise of 100 objective type questions. 1 mark will be allotted for the correct answers. The candidates can attend the questions even which they are not confident about as there is no negative marking. The syllabus of SLIET Diploma Courses Entrance Test is as mentioned below.

Paper I

• English and General Knowledge
• Mathematics

Paper II

• Physics
• Chemistry

Eligibility criteria of SLIET Diploma Courses Entrance Test

The candidates those who have completed their 10+2 education from a recognized board can apply for SLIET Diploma Courses Entrance Test. Moreover, they should also have studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects in the qualifying exam. Those in the 12th standard are also eligible for the same provided they meet all the eligibility criteria at the time of admission.

Application Procedure of SLIET Diploma Courses Entrance Test

The application form along with the brochure can be accessed from the official website of SLIET by the month of April. The application fee of Rs. Rs.600/- (Rs. 300/- for SC/ST candidates) has to be paid in the form of DD or direct cash. If DD mode is selected, it has to be drawn in favor of Director, SLIET and should be payable at Longowal / Sangrur. For direct cash payment mode, the applicants can pay the fees either on the Account section of SLIET or in any of the concerned bank branches. The completed application form accompanied with all the requisite enclosures have to be sent to Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal – 148106 before the deadline.
