Since this profession is into the area of Forestry certainly there is a requirement for specialist in the area. Only graduates can apply for this exam. Also these candidates should have certainly specialised in areas like Botany, Zoology, Geology, Forestry. Candidates who have degree in areas like Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics or even Agriculture or Engineering can also apply for this exam. Any candidate without the mentioned qualification will not be allowed to appear for this exam. The age of the candidate should be more than 21 years and not over 30 years. There is relaxation in the age requirement for those from SC/ST and OBC category.
