Re: Should we get 60% in 12th to get enrolled in MCA Entrance exam?

    hello dear

see, there is no need to get 60% in 12th to get enrolled in MCA Entrance exam.

to do MCA from reputated institute like IITs or NITs or other recognized institute, you have to give a exam which is JECA.

through the basis of rank of JECA, you can join in the reputated institute.

the criteria for JECA exam is given below

    >>minimum science graduate.

    >>minimum 50% marks in graduation.

    >>math in 12th.

    all the best............

MCA is a postgraduate course one can choose to pursue if they have an interest in computer application.

The Eligibility Criteria for admitting into MCA are :-

Students who have finished their graduation in science can apply.
These students must have studied Mathematics as a subject in class 10+2.

There is no age limit regarding the admission to this course.

Candidates who have completed a three years bachelor degree or the graduation level with an aggregate percentage of 50% can apply for this course.
Students must have computer science, mathematics or statistics as a subject at the 10+2 level .

They need to write an entrance exam as to get admission into the MCA course.

So as per this criteria , only Graduation's aggregate and merit will be considered for MCA admission , least bothered about previous academic qualifications .
Just maintaining an pass percentage is enough in your 10+2 for MCA .
