My advice for you to do your M.Tech first to secure your career because success in UPSC Exam is not guaranteed. You should prepare for UPSC Exam along with M.Tech.Best of luck.

    hii,

    http://www.mtechit.com.au/mtech.jpg

MTECH:master of technology. Its done after the B.E, its totally related to the technical field.for doing mtech you need to write the GATE exam, to get into top collleges like the IITs and NITs for that you need to get 96 and 85 percentile. Its good to learn higher versions of technology and its in much in demand by all the companies , paying a very good salary.companie slike the microsoft, intel ,facebook are recruiting this people and paying very high salary.

IAS:its related completely to the indian administration field. Its the indias toughest exam, and if you get selected you work for the good administration in any of the departments.you can also very high salaries.
Its better to do the mtech as you will easily crack the exam, but still on you do what you like most between this.

my friend IAS is the toughest competition in the world...so if u want me to select than i will definitely say m.tech...as u are alrady having a knowledge of this subject so u can get very good jobs in public and private sector after m.tech...

but the main point is u have to choose in which u r interested...u cant be equally interested in both as u cant do both the courses simultaneously...

    soooo...all the best...

Dont Be so Much confused, If you are Interested in M.tech Course then pleas take admission in M.tech course and simultaneously you are also apply for IAS Examination. IAS Examination paper was conducted by UPSC and to become IAS Officer you need to apply for Civil services examination. The examination was held Every year in two stages - Preliminary exam and Main exam.

So, If you are doing M.tech Course and want to apply for IAS examination, then please dont worry You are eligible for this examination. After Graduation you are eligible for IAS Examination, So if your age should between 21 to 30 years then you are apply for this exam 4 times.

So, Just Chill And Think Seriously, But I will suggest you please get admission in M.tech Course and simultaneously prepare for IAS Examination. Because the examination was held completed in 1 day. And If you are Interested in M.tech Then you can do M.tech Course As well apply for Civil services examination. But for IAS Examination You have to study Hard, only then you will get success in this examination, And for More details Please Visit the UPSC website OR read the given notification -

For IAS, you need to have strong determination about study. If you have doubt in your determination towards study then M.Tech is the best way to go. Otherwise choose IAS.

    hello guest
Well IAS is a best option so you can opt for IAS rather than M.tech. M.tech will fetch you a degree but IAS will fetch you knowledge and respected job.
    Good luck

    Hello friend,
here both m.tech and IAS having a very good value for your future...IAS is better than the m.tech but IAS requires very hard study...if you are able to do hardest study then go for IAS entrance exam...otherwise you should do m.tech only..
    choice is yours...all the best..

    M.TECH:-

    **MASTER OF TECHNOLOGY

**ELIGIBILITY IS B.TECH OR ANY MASTER DEGREE

**YOU WRITE GATE ENTRANCE EXAM FOR M.TECH

    IAS:-

    **INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE

**ELIGIBILITY IS GRADUATION IN ANY STREAM

**AGE LIMIT IS 21 TO 30 YEARS

**THEN YOU APPLY UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION EXAMS

BOTH ARE GOOD BUT DO M.TECH

IT IS GOOD FOR YOUR FUTURE

    ALL THE BEST

its my suggestion first you clear your m.tech and safe your future because the success of u.p.s.c exam is not confirm but if you are able to hardest study for u.p.s.c exam then you apply it otherwise your m.tech is safe.
    good luck

    CAREER AFTER THE B.TECH COURSE:

    >>YOU HAVE COMPLETED B.TECH AND YOU ARE CONFUSED WHAT TO DO WHETHER TO DO M.TECH OR AIS .

    >>DO NOT WORRY.YOU CAN BETTER CHOOSE IAS FOR YOUR FUTURE STUDY.

    >>I WILL LIST THE ADVANTAGES OF BOTH THE COURSES.

    >>IF YOU DO YOUR IAS THEN YOU MAY GET A GOOD SALARY AROUND 1 TO 2 LAKHS AND YOU MAY GET A GOOD SECURITY AND A GOOD RESPECT FROM OTHERS.

    >>EVEN PRIME MINISTERS WILL RESPECT THE IAS OFFICERS .AND YOU WILL GET A CHANCE TO DEVELOP YOUR DISTRICT.

    >>BUT IF YOU COMPLETED YOUR M.TECH AND IF YOU WORK IN INDIA SURELY YOU WILL NOT GET ABOVE 1 LAKH RUPEES .

    >>AND YOU HAVE TO WORK ONLY IN PRIVATE COMPANIES TO EARN MONEY.

    >>IF YOU ARE IAS OFFICER YOU WILL GET PENSION BUT IF YOU ARE A COMPUTER ENGINEER YOU MAY NOT GET IT.

    >>SO MY BEST ADVICE FOR YOU IS TO TAKE THE IAS AS YOUR COURSE AFTER YOUR B.TECH COURSE.
