Should I maintain 75% aggregate till the last semester if I have appeared in TCS Campus Interview with 75% aggregate in 7th semester?

My dear friend,to get placement in TCS(Tata consultansy)after your B.tech.you should maintain the following eligibility criteria...
*should have minimum of 60% in 10th and 12th...
*Should have minimum of 65% in B.tech,without any backlogs...
*Should also posses another important eligibility criteria that after completing your graduation you should not have more than 2 years gap in getting job in TCS...
These are the three main important eligibility criteria for applying the job in TCS...
And as you have more than 65% in your studies you are completely eligible for appluing in TCS..
You must also have good skills in the languages like,
*C
*c++
*Java
*Oracle
*SQL..etc.

Basic eligibility criteria for TCS:

-You have to pass your 10th,10+2 and graduation with 65% of marks in any recognized board/University.
-You have the excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-The candidate does not have any backlog.
-There is no gap between their education.

Friend if you have maintained 75% in your 10th, 12th and till B.tech 6th semester throughout, then you will be able to apply for placement exam of Tcs and you can also attained Tcs placement exam. But if you have selected, then you have to maintain 75% till your final semester otherwise you will be rejected at the time of joining.

Actually TCS and other companies give their criteria for interview purpose but they can see it when they give you joining.

As per my concern if you able to keep 75% throughout you can also keep it in last semester after getting job also. So if they want to see it you do not have any problem.

Maximum time Infosys, CTS want to see it TCS normally do not want to see. If you are rare case then something maybe happened wrong with you.

So try to keep marks up to date.

Once you are selected by any Company with the an Aggregate which you have in your hands is the Final Aggregate which will be Entered in the TCS Database .

This means that you need to maintain same aggregate through out your B'tech Academic Year .

But many of the Companies just need their Pass marks in the Remaining Semesters after their Recruitment .
Maintaining the same Aggregate will be better in Recession Cases .

Because , when Software Recession Starts once you are selected by the Company and you score less in Remaining sem's then your call letter may or may not come .

So its better to maintain same .

** No, it is not required to maintain 75% aggregate at the time of joining, but have to maintain 70% above percentage because according to the company (TCS) norms it is necessary

** Yes, TCS will take interview for the students who has 75%+ aggregate, through out their academics

** The minimum aggregate required for appearing for TCS interview is to have 70% aggregate,
if you clear the written test then you will be eligible for Technical, then H.R if can clear both you will be selected in TCS, after yo have been selected in TCS you too have to maintain 70% aggregate at the time of joining

1.INFOSYS-68%
2.WIPRO-60%
3.CTS-60%(5% relaxation in either 10th or 12th)

If you have been selected for by TCS on the basis of marks criteria then in finnal semester also you need to have 75% marks,otherwise you will lose your job.

B,cz if you don't fulfill the criteria for the company then you will not allowed to join the company.

But you should try for other companies which held aptitude test before interview.

Basic criteria for many companies:

1.Basic programming skills

2.Good communication skills.

3.Deep knowledge in your favorite subject.

4.You should meet the min. criteria of marks,like every company have some min. criteria like infosys have 60% .

There are many companies like Infosys,,Cognizant in international market.these companies give you a chance to go onsite(abroad).You will get a chance to earn a lot of money and experience.
