It is not compulsory to drop a year and start preparing for this exam. If you are interested to do your studies in that way, it can be possible. On the other hand, you can take up PG courses as per your interest. Along with your PG studies you can go for coaching classes. You can join either for evening classes or weekend coaching classes. The coaching institutes will provide training in a systematic way. They will provide coaching classes, give mock tests, provide important study materials for preparation etc. Along with this, you need to work hard for this exam by solving model papers, preparing notes etc.
