Should I drop again for a medical seat after two successive drop years? Is it sensible to do so?

i used to consider myself an average student. scored 84% in boards. appeared for AIPMT the same year without preparing much for it. i didnt apply for any colleges that year as i didnt feel like doing plain bsc..i still dont. instead i prepared for the medical entrance and appeared for it next year. i couldnt make it again. everyone around me kept accusing me of wasting a year. considering everything , i took another drop and prepared really hard this time. i was really confident until the exam day..it didnt go as good as expected and i was left out by a little margin. now that the results are out...i really dont know what to do? should i drop again? because i think a field like medicine is totally worth it...and i cant see myself doing anything other than mbbs.

is dropping 3 years continuously for medical entrance sensible? or taking up engineering the third year, and preparing for medical simultaneously, wise? because i cannot see myself doing anything other than mbbs. i prepared hard this time, was confindent...but couldnt make it somehow. i feel i should try atleast once more but fear that i might not be doing the right thing.
