Pursuing MBA after gaining work experience certainly is a good decision. It will help you in rapid career growth. Also it will help in honing your managerial skills. Ideally you should join for a regular course. For this you can appear for the CAT exam. Pursuing MBA from institutes like IIM's will be highly beneficial. If you want to continue working then probably you can pursue distance education course. But you ensure its from a recognised and well reputed institute like Symbiosis, IGNOU.

MBA is a 2year PG course which can be done after degree. MBA has lots of scope world wide if you do it from a famous institute.

To get into IIM's you have to come across 3 stages:
    1.Qualifying in CAT(Common Admission Test)
    2.Group Discussion
    3.Personal Interview

    CAT Exam Pattern:

The CAT exam will have only two sections.
    1.First section is Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation;
2.The second section is Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning.
The examination will be 140 minutes.

    Few top colleges:

    IBS, Hyderabad

National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE)

    Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE)

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTU)

    Badruka College Post Graduate Center

Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT)

    Magnus School of Business(MSB)

    Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management

According to a recent survey, high performing successful MBAs are more likely to reach top management levels of Fortune 500 companies and other corporate areas.

    Job Security:

An MBA degree provides a combination of elective and specialized courses wherein by training candidates to handle complex business situations. Doing MBA right after your UG also a good idea but surely not a better one. Because you don't know any practical things in your field and going on studying then what's the use??

So,first gain work experience and then do PG.
