Opportunities in the field of M.Sc are plenty. You need to select based on what kind of job profile you are interested in taking up. Like if you like the teaching profession then you can appear for the UGC NET exam. There is also Junior Research Fellowship exam for those interested in the research field. Also an option to works a trouble shooter is available. Laboratories also employ candidates from this background. There also options to work in the operations area like power plants, scientific operations, radiation monitoring etc. Make sure that you select the right option in which you can excel.

There are innumerous openings for those who have a masters’ degree in Physics. The opportunities for the Postgraduates in Physics are listed below. They can work as troubleshooter or representatives in instrument companies. Teaching is another important zone for them to work on, as it is an admiring position. There are a lot of technical jobs coming forth in the world of Physics. The candidates can also do the supervising work in laboratories. They also have more options in the fields of radiation monitoring, electrical power plant operation, scientific instrument operations, etc. Those who wish to continue their life as a Physicist can opt the way of research, thereby making new inventions in Physics.

Do P. hd. or clear the NET exams & go for lecturership, or JRF post or SRF post & indulge in projects.
Or go abroad & do work for NASA.
proof reader jobs is also open for u.
Or give coaching for the students who wants to clear IIT exams.

Physics governing the law of nature and applying the same for welfare of human beings.

Likewise in Physics assumptions are endless, similarly there is endless opportunities for Physics degree holders.

M.sc (Physics): A general Master in Physics can fetch you some of the better jobs like- Teaching, Fellowships, Apprentice, Lab Technician, etc. jobs.

M.sc (Astrophysics): For those to whom sky is the limit. A master in Astrophysics can fulfill your Space craze and dream for a successful career in space science. But general for greater carrer prospect and also because Astrophysics specialization are generally available at PhD level. Better you can opt for a PhD for endless plethora of opportunities.

M.sc (Quantum Physics): Passionate about Large Hadron Collider Experiment, what to how Earth comes into existence, How powerful a atomic bomb is. Get answered by Quantum Physics. But career prospect must not be wider without a PhD.

M.sc (Nuclear Physics): One of the best and toughest branches of Physics. But more fruitful also. Ideal for working any of the Nuclear power plants of India. But same here can not expect a wider array without a PhD.

M.sc (Electronics): Best one even for a Master level. Core companies always look for Electronics graduates for technical works. Offer good pay and growth prospects are also good enough even without a master degree. Even IT sector need them.

Re: Scope M.Sc Physics

M.Sc Physics provides bright career options.
One of the most highlighted Job options after completing M.Sc Physics would be joining as a lab technician in a government or Private Organization. Or you may opt for M.Phil or Ph.D after completing M.Sc to join a research centre.
If you complete M.Sc physics then you can become Junior college Lecturer or Degree College Lecturer. You can enter in to the research field also. You can write NET to secure a good job of a professor after completing M.Phil and Ph.D.
You can enter in to the research field also, this option is always open.
Government organizations are looking for M.Sc physics persons for their research field. You can even apply for Civil services also if you are interested in public service.
So, it is you who has to make a choice.

Hello!
>>There is a very good scope in physics if you pursue it.Physics finds a wide application in industry, atomic and space organizations, forensic science, meteorology, electronics, design & development engineering, research laboratories. It also has considerable commercial and military value.,
>> Besides going in for research, you could also teach in colleges/universities for which the minimum requirement is M.Sc Physics and qualifying the UGC-CSIR NET for lectureship and JRF. MSc followed by a BEd will enable you to teach at the high school level.
>> M.Sc Physics students are also eligible for pursuing M.Tech (in a host of engineering/technology disciplines including aeronautical, automobile, instrumentation, electronics & communication, or computer science at leading institutions including the IITs after taking the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).
>>Postgraduate diplomas in leather, sugar, plastics, processing, packaging or environment technology are some other options you could look at. Moreover, the skills developed while studying Physics, particularly the ability to research, evaluate and communicate information, will hold you in good stead in just about any field you may choose to train for - be it management, information technology, or aviation.
>> You can also take the Civil Services as well as the Indian Forest Service Exams with Physics as one of the papers in the Mains examination.

All the best!
