Is it a rule that Third year B.Com Students are not eligible for CPT Entrance exam? Can I apply for IPCC exam directly while pursuing B.Com course?

To appear in CPT exam. candidate must fulfill the eligibility criteria required for it. Candidate must have passed 10 +2 examination from recognized school or board. Candidates appeared for final year exam and result is awaited are also eligible for appearing in CPT. Candidates having CS, M.Com, MBA, B.Com, ICWA, LLB courses are also eligible. So i guess you are eligible for CPT exam in third year of B.com course.

For IPCC exam, A student who has passed Common Proficiency Test and senior secondary examination (10+2 examination) conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India or an examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto are eligible. So after clearing CPT you can applu for IPCC exam.

    Yes thats true .
The central govt. Has announced a new rule for graduate students who wish to apply for CA course.
CA course has three stages to complete.
    1- CPT
    2-IPCC
    3-finally CA course.
The .com students who have completed their graduation or being in final year are eligible to apply for second level of CA course directly.
You must have opt 50% in graduation.
For non commerce students 60% is required.
CA is the most difficult course .
So you should have to workhard for passing CA course.
    Thanks
