    Qualification Bank PO

    PO(Probationary officer), for this post in bank SBI and other banks conducts examination for recruitment of PO according to the banks requirement.
    IBPS(Institute of banking personal service) conducts PO exam for 19 public sector banks from time to time as per requirement.
    The candidate should be an Indian Citizen having completed Graduation Degree in any stream with atleast 60% marks within the age of 21 or 30 years in eligible to apply for bank PO exam. There is upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidate up to 5 years and for OBC up to 3 years.

    The selection is through written test followed by personal interview.

    And the pattern for IBPS PO exam is

    Reasoning - > 50 marks with negative marking of 0.25
    English Language -> 50 marks with negative marking of 0.125
    Quantitative Aptitude -> 50 marks with negative marking of 0.25
    General Awareness -> 50 marks with negative marking of 0.25
    Computer knowledge -> 50 marks with negative marking of 0.25

    Total of 250 marks

    PROBATIONARY OFFICER ELIGIBILITY

    dear there is no compulsory that you must 1St class in your graduation to get eligible for the different bank exams conducted for the probationary post throughout the india.
    eligibility for the BANK PO(probationary post):
    you must have 10+2 with 65 % of marks in your graduation to get eligible for this programme to get eligible ,if you are belong to the SC/ST and OBC category than you must have 60% of marks to get eligible.
    state bank of india conducts probationary officer in two stages , thsi exam is conducted between September and October.thsi exam is very important exam for you because this is the best bank in india and you will have good facilities and good salary and good name if you get job in this bank ,most of the students in india are applying for this exam,
    structure of SBI PO EXAM
    STEP 1
    thsi section consists of objective type and descriptive type of questions, the paper will be in english and Hindi language except the english paper.
    in the first section you have to attempt 125 questions in 135 minutes and the questions will be in multiple choice questions.
    afetr that you have to write four sections in the first step.
    • reasoning consists of 75 questions,
    • quantitative techniques consists of 50 questions,
    • english consists of 50 questions,
    • general awareness consists of 50 questions,
    there will be 1/4 of marks deduction for every wrong answer.
    in the second section consists of descriptive type of test consists english language questions , you have to attempt in 45 minutes.
    group discussion and interview:
    if you want to qualify for the discussion and interview than you have to qualify the written exam.
    age limit
    • your age limit must be 21-30 years to get eligible for this programme.
    notifications for the SBI-PO exam
    • online registration will be started from 09-03-2012.
    • online payment of application fees is from 09-03-2012-30-03-2012.
    • offline payment starts from 12-03-2012-07-04-2012.
    • the exam is on 17-06-2012.
    education qualification for IBPS PO
    you must have a degree from any recognized university with 40-50% of marks to be eligible for this exam,
    age limit
    minimum age limit is 20 years,
    maximum is 30 for general categories
    age relaxation
    • if you are belong to the SC/ST than you must have 5 years of age relaxation,
    • if you are belong to the obc than you must have 3 years of age relaxation,
    • if you are belong to the PWD than you must have 10 years of age relaxation,
    for this exam you have to do lot of hard work as there are so many competitiveness with you , there are 20 lakh students registering for this exam.
    the syllabus for this exam consists of objective and descriptive papers,
    objective paper consists of 225 questions ,and it has five sections like
    • reasoning- this section consists of 50 objective questions carrying 50 marks,
    • quantitative aptitude- this section consists of 50 objective questions carrying 50 marks,
    • english language test-this section consists of 25 objective questions carrying 0.25 marks,
    • general awareness-this section consists of 50 objective questions carrying 50 marks,
    • computer knowledge test-this section consists of 50 objective questions carrying 50 marks,
    the duration of this exam is 2.5 hours
    descriptive paper,
    you may understand what is descriptive is you have to to write
    • letter writing,
    • essay,
    • precis ,
    • comprehension etc.. in this exam .
    important dates for IBPS PO:
    starting date for the online registration is 09-03-2012,
    fee payment through offline date is 12-03-2012 to 07-04-2012
    online fees payment is on 09-03-2012 to 30-03-2012,
    last date fro the online registration is on 30-03-2012,
    date for th exam is on 17-06-2012.
    you can download the call letter from 05-06-2012.

    so dear for all the entrance examination you have 10 to 15 percent of marks difference , but maximum you must have 60-65 % to get eligible for this exam.

    Bank PO Recruitment examination is Conducted by Various Banks Every year.


    To apply for Probationary officer Post, You have to complete your Graduation because Graduation is the Minimum eligibility criteria to apply for Bank PO Examination.

    You can appear for bank PO Examination only if your age should be less than 30 years, You have to attained the age of 21 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

    The selection are based on written examination, Group discussion and Personal Interview.

    Written examination is conducted in 2 stages , Objective and Descriptive.

    If you cracked the written examination, then you are eligible to appear for Final Interview and then you will become Probationary officer in Bank.

    But for this year Bank PO examination was completed and if you are Interested in this examination then please wait for the Next year Recruitment.

    No it is not 60% it ie 55% for the gen category.Those candidate have completed their graduation degree from any recognized university are eligible for BANK PO exam.Minimum qualification for this examination is graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and candidate must score at least 55% marks in their examination.Some banks final year candidates are also eligible to apply for this examination.The candidate age limits for this examination is 21 years and 30 years at the time of appearing for this examination,relaxation is given to the various reserved categories.

    IBPS PO :-

    Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or deemed university or equivalent qualification and candidate age limits for this examination is 20 years and 30 years at the time of appearing for this examination.Upper age limits is given to the various reserved categories.

    SBI PO :-

    Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or deemed university or equivalent qualification and candidate age limits for this examination is 21 years and 30 years at the time of appearing for this examination.Upper age limits is given to the various reserved categories.

    No , It is not copulatory to get first class in Graduation degree.

    You can apply in BANK PO Exam through SBI PO and IBPS PO exam.

    IBPS PO EXAM=>

    You must have a degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

    Your age should be minimum 20 years and not more then 30 years.There is some relaxation given to reserved caste students in upper age limit .For SC/ST its a 5 years and for OBC its a 3 years .

    SBI PO EXAM=>

    You must have completed your graduation in any streams with minimum marks.
    You should not be less then 21 and more then 30 years

    Hi,

    The qualifications required for Bank PO exams are:

    1. Age:- The candidate should have age in the limit of 21 year to 30 years . There is age relaxations for reserved categories as per government rules.
    For SC/ST- The upper limit is relaxed by 5 years
    For OBC- The upper limit is relaxed by 3 years
    For PH,OH,VI candidates- The upper limit is relaxed by 10 years

    2. The educational qualification should be a graduation degree with 65% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
