Re: Required eligibility criterion to join as a CID officer?

If you want to work as a CID officer you have to appear in civil services examination conducted by Union public service commission.

There are many posts for candidates in the CID.
Their level of entry is determined by their qualification. The minimum qualification required for a candidate to join as a constable in the CID is a pass in class 12.
If one aspires to join as a Sub Inspector, he/she should have cleared graduation. Graduation is the requirement for officer level post as well.

    best of luck
