    I am pretty much interested in CS course for which a few queries lingers in my mind. Will be very thankful if it gets solved.
    1. What is the eligibility criteria?

    Hi there,

    1. The eligibility criteria for CS foundation is 12th pass and for Intermediate is Graduate pass.

    2. To apply, Buy the form from CS office at Rs. 50 and fill it and submit the same there itself.

    3. Last dates for December Attempt: 31st march every year
    For June attempt: 25th or 31st September

    4. Fees structure is divided in two parts: At the time of admission you need to submit Rs.3600 and Rs.875 has to be submitted at the time examination

    ICSI(Institute of Company Secretaries of India) offers part time Company Secretary courses. The career course of Company Secretary is not only prestigious but is financial prospects.



    Eligibility for Company Secretary Courses:

    1:You should clear 3 stages to qualify as Company Secretary and these are:

    i)Foundation Course

    ii)Intermediate Course

    iii)Final Course

    2:The minimum eligibility to gain entry in the Foundation Course is a pass in 10+2 examination or its equivalent in any stream. As you have B.Com as well as MBA degree,so there is no problem.

    Course Duration : 8 months duration

    3:Intermediate Course:

    4:Final Course:

    One passing the Final examination of ICSI you will need to undergo a practical training after which, you will be completely eligible for the Associate Membership of the Institute.

    The Training is of Training Orientation Program(TOP) is for 5 days and is done before commencement of training.

    This is followed by training for 15 months after the candidate has passed the Intermediate Examination or Final Examination.

    The main institute is ICSI(Institute of Company Secretaries of India) at Kolkata, Chennai and Mumbai and Delhi

    dear the company secretary has a very huge importance in this corporate governance , you may know if any company has a paid-up capital that exceeds rs.50 lakhs requires a company secretary to administer legal matters of that company , this norm was developed by the companies act.
    company secretary eligibility
    this exam was conducted by ICSI ,the duration of this course is three years.
    you have 3 stages to complete this course
    • foundation course,
    • intermediate course or executive course,
    • final course and professional course.
    eligibility for the foundation course
    you have to complete 10+2 to get eligible for this programme ,if you are waiting for your result for the 12th exams than also you can eligible for this programme,but you have to produce the pass certificate with in 6 months from the time of admission, the duration of this course is 8 months, afetr completing this course you can apply for the intermediate course.
    eligibility for the intermediate course
    if you are a graduate holder than you can apply directly to this programme, or else you have to qualify the foundation course to get eligible for this programme.
    if You are a student of ICAI and ICWAI , or if you have completed your graduate than you can directly apply for the intermediate course without foundation course.
    eligibility for the final /professional course
    you have to qualify te intermediate course to get eligible for the final course.

    if you are qualified both foundation and intermediate or executive course than you have to undergo the management training of 15 months under the guidance of company secretary in practise.

    hello friend,

    ICSI conducts the CS certification course,

    fee structure:
    Foundation Program - Rs.3500( for under graduates)
    Executive Program -Rs. 7000 (commerce graduates)
    Rs. 7500 (non commerce graduates)
    Professional Program- Rs.7500.

    15 months of practical training it is mandatory.

    if i want to do CS after graduation and i have given exam of graduation in may,its result will be out in august...what is its criteria for intermediate course and when will be forms will out and last ate of submission form....??????

    Hi,

    CS- Company secretary.

    There are two levels at which a student can start pursuing this course.

    1 - After 10 + 2/Senior Secondary/intermediate or

    2 - After Graduation (10 + 2 + 3).

    Pattern of the course -

    A student pursuing the course after 10 + 2 has to get through three academic levels to complete the course .

    Foundation
    Intermediate
    Final

    While a student starting the course after graduation has to get through only 2 academic levels skipping the first level.

    Intermediate
    Final

    Eligbility criteria to become a CS -

    Minimum 10+2 from a recognised board.

    There is no minimum percentage criteria also.

    Duration of the course -

    Foundation - 8 months
    Intermediate /Executive - 9 months
    Final /Professional and training - 15 months

    Fees of the course -

    Foundation -Rs. 3600
    Intermediate /Executive - Rs. 7000
    Final /Professional - Rs. 9000
