    what is the minimum eligibility criteria for bank po exams..? can i appear in these exams if i have scored 55% marks aggregate in graduation?

    Yes, you can apply for the exam, as you possess the required educational qualification. IBPS is the authority for conducting common PO entrance test for many public sector banks. The exam is carried out two times in a year. The minimum educational qualification required to apply for the exam is pass in graduation. The bachelor degree must be passed from a recognized educational institution with at least 50% marks. The age of the candidate must fall with in the range of 21-30 years. Category wise relaxation offered for reserved candidates. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for the exam. The private banks carry out their own entrance exams for the PO post.

    IBPS is the institute of banking personnel selection exam.SBI PO exam is the state bank of india PO exam.
    There are 19 banks under the IBPS.exam is carried out for two year.

    Education qualification
    you should have at least one bachelor degree to apply for bank PO exam.

    AGE limit
    21 to 30 years for general category.
    3 year relaxation for OBC and 5 year relaxation for SC/ST.

    Yes.you are eligible for bank po exam if you scored 55% in graduation.

    Yes,after completion of graduation you are eligible for Banking jobs.

    The banking Sector, separately conducts the different examinations for probationary officers and clerks.

    If you have any interest in the Banking sector.Then you have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria.

    You must be citizen form India.
    You age should in between 21-30 years.Upper age limit will be applicable for ST/SC/OBC candidates.
    You must have the basic knowledge on computers.
    You must have he good communication skills.

    If you fulfill those qualifications then you are eligible ofr PO exam.

    Syllabus:

    The written examination consist of following subjects, namely

    General Awareness
    General Knowledge
    Computer knowledge
    English
    Aptitude
    Verbal and non verbal Reasoning.

    A candidate must have the following minimum qualifications for appearing in the various Bank PO Exams :-

    1) The candidate must have completed his/her graduation from a recognized University (final year students can also appear)

    2) The candidates must be within the age limit of 21-30 years

    Yes you are eligible for bank P.O exam. Now a days every bank has a huge requirement for graduation candidate . Only you cannot sit for exam conducted by SBI as they require 60% al through.
    but nothing to woory there are several bank only want 50 to 55 % marks

    Eligibility criteria :
    1 Candidate have to be indian citizen
    2 Candidate have to pass Graduation from a recognized university
    3 Candidate have to secure 50 to 55% marks on graduation
    4 Candidate who are final year of graduation can also apply for the post but they have to show final year certificate or result on the interview.
    5 Age should between 21 to 30 year
    6 Age relaxation is only for sc/st/obc


    Exam pattern :

    1. Reasoning 50 question 50 marks
    2. Quantitative Aptitude 50 question 50 marks
    3. General Awareness 50 question 50 marks
    4. General English 50 question 50 marks

    Hi,

    Yes you are Eligible to appear for Bank PO exams.

    The Bank PO exams are Conducted by IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection) and the the exam is named as CWE(Common Written Examination) .

    To appear for the exam the basic eligibility Criteria are:

    You need to Complete your 10th standard from a recognized board with any Discilpine with a minimum of 60%.

    (or)

    You need to Complete your 10+2 with any Discipline with a minimum of 55%.

    (or)

    You Should Complete your Graduation from a recognized University.

    Exam is divided into two phases:

    Objective
    Descriptive




    The Objective paper Carries 200 Marks with 200 Questions in it. 0.25 marks will be deduced for all the wrong answers. The other part is the subjective part where you need to write an essay which carries 25 Marks.

    Hi dude,

    You are eligible to write the bank po exam if you are a graduate from a recognized university and you need to have age between 21 to 30 years.You need to be a citizen of INDIA. As you have already complete your graduation, your eligible for this exam but some nationalized banks keep there cut off at 60% in graduation.

    So as you have 55% in your graduation your eligible for applying for local and non nationalized banks.
    For this post you need to have computer knowledge.You need to know about Microsoft Office(MS OFFICE) because Mostly the bank po have to work on it.

    Yes off course you are eligible for the IBPS PO's recruitment with your graduation with 55%,you can also apply for the clerical posts in IBPS and there is no need to worry,and apply to the IBPS PO's.....

    IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection):
    IBPS conducts examinations every year for the selection of candidates in to the Banks,there are totally 19 banks which are participating in the IBPS recruitment Process and these Banks are the Public sector banks and the recruitment Process is based on some rules and regulations to be followed strictly and the candidates who wish to get job in these 19 public sector banks need to satisfy first the eligibility criteria provided by the IBPS recruitment and also should qualify in the examination conducted......

    A Probationary Exam is conducted by a bank to recruit graduates to the post of Probationary Officer to their various branches .

    And YES you are eligible
    Most banks dont specify a minimum percentage. All they need is a graduation in any discipline.


    Eligibility Criteria:

    **You must be a citizen of India.
    **You should have completed your graduation with at least 60 % aggregate from any recognized University to be eligible.
    ** You can have your degree in any discipline.
    **You must be a computer literate .

    AGE QUALIFICATION:

    Minimum: 21
    Maximum : 30

    PAPAER PATTERN:

    1.Preliminary Examination :

    Time 2 Hours

    Bank PO Recruitment examination is Conducted by Various Banks Every year ::

    To apply for Probationary officer Post, You have to complete your Graduation because Graduation is the Minimum eligibility criteria to apply for Bank PO Examination.

    You can appear for bank PO Examination only if your age should be less than 30 years, You have to attained the age of 21 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

    The selection are based on written examination, Group discussion and Personal Interview.

    Written examination is conducted in 2 stages , Objective and Descriptive.

    You have completed GRADUATION from recognized university then you are eligible for BANK PO exam otherwise not.

    Now in India 17 bank recruit the PO through IBPS exam.Those candidate have completed graduation with any stream with any percentage are applicable for IBPS PO exam.

    The candidate age should be in between 21 to 34 years.Age relaxation is provide only for reserved category as per govt rule.

    The selection process for this exam 1)Written Test 2)Personal Interview.

    BANK PO Age Eligibility depends on bank you are applying and it varies from bank to bank like....

    Age Criteria for Bank PO Exam:

    Federal bank
    The Candidate must not be more than 26 years of age.

    ICICI Bank
    Candidates must not be more than 25 years of age.

    Dena Bank
    The minimum age of the candidate is 21 years and maximum age limit is 30.
    State Bank of India
    Not below 21 years and not above 30 years.

    Syndicate Bank
    Min. 21 years and Max. 30 years

    Age Relaxation Exists As Per Govt. Rules to Every Bank

    (i)3 years in the case of OBC candidates
    (ii) 5 years in the case of SC/ST/Ex-servicemen

    hiiii....
    If you have 10+2 passed certificate then you can appear for the bank clerical examination conducted by various banks but if you are sitting for state bak of india examination for clerical then you should have 60% if you are general candidate and 55% for reserved category candidates. If you are applying to other banks, then the written examination is conducted by IBPS (INDIAN BANKING PERSONEL SELECTION) in which you just need 10+2 pass certificate.

    Regarding the P.O. (probationary Officer) examination you should be a graduate and having bak paper in final year exam of graduation wont allow you to sit for Bank P.O. written examination.

    Bank PO jobs are in good demand these days. This is because of the vast development of banking sector in India and the comforts and other benefits that are being provided to these positions.

    Hence, the number of candidates who attempt bank exams are going on increasing.

    The selection procedure for these positions is by
    -Written Test
    -Interview.

    There will be negative marking in the written exam. The written exam consists of various questions from
    -Reasoning
    -Quantitative Aptitude
    -General Awareness
    -General English
    -Computer Knowledge

    One should have to secure minimum qualifying marks in each of the sections in order to get through the written exam.

    The eligibility criteria for bank exams will be slightly different from bank to bank.

    Academic Qualification :
    -One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university. Some banks may put certain percentage of marks in Graduation as the eligibility criteria and it will be 55%.
    -Candidates who are pursuing final year of Graduation can also apply for Bank Exams for POs but they should be able to show the proof of passing in Graduation when they appear for Interview.

    yes, you are eligible to appear for bank po entrance exam after scoring 55% in graduation.
    you are eligible after fulfilling the following eligibilty criteria:
    Education:
    you must be graduated from a recognized university or institution.
    you must be either
    (i) a Citizen of India or
    (ii) a subject of Nepal or
    (iii) a subject of Bhutan or
    (iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.

    AGE:Minimum: 20 Years
    Maximum: 30 Years,
    Relaxation will be applicable for sc/st/obc candidates. For sc/st 5 years and obc 3 years, persons with disabilities 10 years.

    for bank PO following are the requirment.
    1.Age limit:-the age limit for bank po is minimum 21 year for appear the exam and maximum 30 tears till 30 you can atmpt as much as possible exam.
    2.edjucation qualification:-you should graduate with minimum60% of marks then you can apply for PO.there is relaxation for sc and st candidate in age for 5% . So if you belong this category so you are eligible for this exam.

    Eligibility for PO exam-

    1.You should be graduate from a recognized university with at least 55%(50% in case of SC/ST/OBC) or post-graduate from a recognized university.

    The banking probational officers examination for nationalized banks is basically conducted by two bodies as follows:
    1)State bank of India-
    This is one of the greatest nationalized bank of the country and it conducts a separate examination for the recruitment of probational officers and other personnel in its branches.

    2)IBPS(Institute of Banking personnel selection)-
    This is a new body which has been created for the recruitment of candidates in the various other nationalized banks of the country.
    The required eligibility criteria is that you must have graduation certificate from a recognized university with a minimum of 55%
    in aggregate.
