    No, there is no age limit for the CTET Exam. CTET Means Central Teacher Eligibility Test. This Test is for the recruit the teacher for the children to the act of 2009. This is for the Right of Children to free nad Compulsory at the RTE Act. It requires the large no of teachers across the country. It is for Primary and Upper Level. It is necessary that persons recruited as teacher posses the essential aptitude and ability to meet the challenges to teaching at that level.



    The Exam of CTET is conducted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to the Central Board of Secondary Education Delhi which shall be held on 29.01.2012.

    Eligibility of CTET: - These persons are eligible for appearing the Central teacher Eligibility Test. The Qualification for this is as follow :-
    Qualification for first to fourth Class:- You have passed the Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed in final year diploma.
    OR
    You have passed Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and appearing in the B.Ed or passed it from recognized board and University.
    You have passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education from a recognized university and HSC from a recognized Board.
    OR
    Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education from a recognized University.

    Qualification eligibility for Sixth to Eighth Classes candidates :-
    Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final
    Year of 4-year B.A/ B.Sc.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed from a recognized Board and from a recognized university.
    OR
    Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. from a recognized University.
    OR
    Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education
    (B.Ed) from a recognized university and from a recognized Board.
    OR
    Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education
    (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued
    from time to time in this regard.
    Training to be undergone: A person with D.Ed (Special Education) or B.Ed (Special Education)
    qualification shall undergo, after appointment an NCTE recognized 6-month Special Programme
    in Elementary Education.

    There is 5% Relaxation in% for ST/SC/OBC and other PH candidates.

    The Application form sent by courier shall not be accepted and will be summarily rejected.
    Online Submission of Form: - You can also fill the form online also. The address for filling the form is
    www.cbse.nic.in or www.ctet.nic.in fees can be submitted by credit or debit card.




    Important Dates for Exam :-[COLOR="rgb(255, 140, 0)"]Date of Exam is 29/1/2012. There is two paper is conducted on that date. Paper I is on the time 10:30 to 11:30 am. That’s duration 1:30 hours and IInd Paper is conducted on the time 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. That’s duration is 1:30 hours.

    *CTET stands for Central teacher Eligibility Test and it is conducted for the recruitment of teachers for the Classes from 1-VIII in the government schools.

    *The Exam is conducted in the month of June every year.

    *There is No age limit for appearing in the CTET exams.

    The Educational qualification needed for the CTET EXAMS is:

    FOR CLASSES I-V:

    You should be Senior Secondary passed with 50% marks or appearing in final 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education.

    OR

    You should be Senior Secondary passed and must have got minimum of 45% marks or appearing in final 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education (or its equivalent), in accordance with the NCTE.

    OR

    You should be a Senior Secondary passed and must have scored at least 50% marks or appearing in final 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)

    OR

    You should be a Senior Secondary passed with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 2 – year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

    FOR CLASSES VI-VIII:

    You should be graduated and must have scored at least 50% minimum marks to be eligible for the CTET exams and there is a relaxation of 5% marks for Special cases.

    I am obc candidate. In my senior secondary marks 45%.I am appearing two years elementary education.My qualification is Bsc(38%marks).Am i elegible for 1 to 5(primary stage) and 6 to 8 (elementary stage) CTET EXAM.

    there are not any age limit for the ctet written exams.

    the eligibility criteria for the ctet entrance has been given below;;;;;;;



    1. Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage ..>>

    a> Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed

    b> Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

    2.Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage

    CTET Examination does not have any of the Age limits and you can appear when ever you want with the educational qualifications which are required..................

    CTET Examination:

    CTET:- Central Teacher eligibility Test

    This examination is mainly for those who are interested in the teaching field after clearing of the exam you can have the job opportunities in the primary schools and colleges

    Mainly this exam is conducted by the CBSE board of education ans this examination is conducted in the months of the November

    Eligibility criteria for CTET exam:-

    -you must complete your 10+2 for for the teaching to the classes 1-5 th classes and if you are in the final year then your are also eligible to apply for this exam

    -You must completion your graduation course for the Senior secondary education

    -You must complete your graduation course for the teaching to the 6th to the 10th and you must be from the streams like classes in the streams like B.A, B.com, BBA, B.Sc

    CTET examination is conducted twice in a year and the upcoming schedule is in he November and here are the notifications for that
