    You can apply for IBPS Common Entrance exam.IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking Personnel.It is conducting common written exam for 19 government sector banks.You will be having chance to apply for both PO position and Clerical cadre positions.Here you will be having chance to apply for all the banks with single time payment and single time written test.This is really a good chance for the candidates those who want to get jobs in the government banks.Once go through following eligibility criteria;

    Those candidate have completed their graduation degree from any recognized university are eligible for SBI BANK PO exam.

    They are not require any kind of percentage marks in graduation for this time.

    But your age must be in between 20 to 30 years.Age relaxation is provide only for SC/ST/OBC candidate .For Sc/ST candidate have age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC candidate it is 3 years.

    SBI BANK PO exam consist of two steps 1) Written test 2)Personal Interview.

    For written test you must be prepare for mathematics and general knowledge.Also you must have basic knowledge computer field.

    Every bank set their own criteria .So it is not perfect criteria all BANK PO exam.

    A new restriction has been imposed on the number of attempts for the candidates. For general number of attempts is 4, for OBC it is 7 and for SC/ST

    IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and this examination is conducted twice in a year for recruitment of 19 public sectors banks.

    IBPS Conducts three types of examination :-

    1)Probationary Officer
    2)Clerical Officer
    3)Specialist Officer

    Probationary Officer :-

    The Aspirant have to possess the graduate degree in any discipline of a recognized University or equivalent qualification and there is no specific percentage criteria for this examination.Final year candidates are not eligible to apply for this examination only pass out candidates are eligible to apply for this examination and Any graduate stream candidates are eligible to apply for this examination.

    The Aspirant must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years at the time of appearing for this examination and upper age limits is applicable for OBC/SC/ST and other reserved categories.

    Upper age limits :-

    >>OBC categories :- 3 years.
    >>SC/ST categories :- 5 years.
    >>PWD categories :- 10 years.

    Selection Procedure of probationary officer examination :- Written examination as well as personal interview.

    Written examination has five sections and each section consist of 50 marks.All the sections are objective type questions.

    BANK PO Age Eligibility depends on bank you are applying and it varies from bank to bank like....

    Age Criteria for Bank PO Exam:

    Federal bank
    The Candidate must not be more than 26 years of age.

    ICICI Bank
    Candidates must not be more than 25 years of age.

    Dena Bank
    The minimum age of the candidate is 21 years and maximum age limit is 30.

    State Bank of India
    Not below 21 years and not above 30 years.

    Syndicate Bank
    Min. 21 years and Max. 30 years

    Age Relaxation Exists As Per Govt. Rules to Every Bank

    (i)3 years in the case of OBC candidates
    (ii) 5 years in the case of SC/ST/Ex-servicemen
    (iii) 10 years for Physically Challenged Candidates

    Probitionary Officer Qualification

    Now a days,IBPS conduct CWE for 19 banks.If you are going to sit in IBPS common written exam than you have to vary the given eligiblity criteria --

    Your age must between 18 to 28 years.Reserve category candidate get relaxation in upper age .
    You should pass bachlor degree with any discipline from a recognised university.

    After qualifying this exam you get a score card.

    Age criteria :-

    -->For General Candidates 20 to 30years.

    Hello my dear,

    You can appear for the Bank PO through the exams that are conducted by IBPS(Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) to recruit candidates as Clerical cadre or Specialist officers under 19 public sector banks in India. The exam is named as common written exam .

    Eligibility:

    You need to Complete your 10th standard with 60% from a recognized board.

    (or)

    You need to complete your 10+2 with 55% from a recognized Board

    (or)

    You need to be a graduate from a recognized university with any discipline.

    Your age limit must be 18 years to 28 years. Upper age relaxations applicable for SC/ST and BC candidates.



    The exam is Divided into two parts:

    1). Descriptive
    2). objective

    The Objective paper Carries 200 Marks and it consists of 200 Questions in it the duration of the exam is 150 minutes. 0.25 Marks will be deduced for all the wrong answers .The topics covered in the exam are

    Test of Reasoning
    English Language
    Professional Knowledge
    General Awareness

    The other part is the Subjective part where you need to write an essay on the topic given. The paper carries 25 Marks and the duration is 60 Minutes.

    IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.This exam is conducted to Recruit the students for bank jobs .To apply for this exam you need to complete your graduation from a reconized university.You can also apply if you are in the final year of your Graduation.Your age need to be between 20-30 years.This exam is conducted in both objective and descriptive type`s.Objective type is of 150 min duration.Descriptive type is of 60 min duration .The score card of this exam will have 1 year validity.

    hii friend...bank PO exam...BANK PROBATIONARY OFFICERS EXAM it is the entry level position in the office cadre in the banking industry...
    PO's have good career and can make good positions in BANK jobs....
    recruitment of BANK PO's is done through a written exam conducted by different banks based on vacanies in the bank....
    various banks give advertisements in the news papers about recruitment...so read news paper daily for eligibilty and vacancies..
    every bank has different criteria for selection process some banks may just have written exam and interview ...some have GD too...
    so aware of each bank how it conducts the exam...
    ELIGIBILTY:
    you should be an INDIAN
    graduation from any univ with atleast 55-60% marks ..
    age should be in between 21-30 years...and its relaxed 5 years for reservation candidates...
    each bank advertises the exam date so based on that you must proceed ...

    the minimum age criteria for p.o examination is same for all class student and it is 21.In the case of the upper age limit for p.o examination there is is 30 for genral student,but some relaxatation are avaliable for some class people.It is 35 for both sc/st student,33 for OBC students,40 for physically challenged students,35 for Ex-serviceman while it is 39 for wiodos or divorced women.for a genral student 60% or more marks in 12th and 55% or more marks in post graduation.

    There is one institute which conducts the Exam called CWE(COMMON WRITTEN EXAM) and it is called as IBPS and it conducts it every year.

    There are a total of 19 public sector banks participating in the CWE.

    You can appear for bank PO Examination only if your age should be less than 30 years, You have to attained the age of 21 years.

    Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

    The selection are based on written examination, Group discussion and Personal Interview.

    Written examination is conducted in 2 stages , Objective and Descriptive.

    If you cracked the written examination, then you are eligible to appear for Final Interview and then you will become Probationary officer in Bank.

    The required age Criteria For IBPS PO is 20 years , you might have misunderstood with something Else .

    Though some relaxation given to following categories by
    5 years SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates
    3 years to OBC candidates
    5 years to in-service candidates
    5 years in the case of ex-servicemen including Commissioned Officers and ECOs / SSCOs
    10 years in the case of blind, deaf-mute and orthopaedically handicapped candidates

    For PO post, You should have passed a degree in any stream from a recognized university. Your age should be between 20-30 years (age relaxation for OBC-3 years and for SC/ST- 5 years) and for Clerical Cadre post you should have passed your 10th exam with 60% and passed your intermediate (10+2) exam from a recognized board and your age should be between 18 to 28 years (age relaxation for OBC-3 years and for SC/ST- 5 years).

    Age Limits for I.B.P.S Probationary Officers Exam:

    General Category Candidate: Minimum age is 20 years and not maximum 30 years of as on given date in notification

    Upper age limit relaxation:

    For Backward Category Candidates 3 years

    For SC/ST Candidates 5 years

    For Physically with Disabled Candidates 10 years
