    IBPS i.e Indian Banking Personal Selection :

    This is conducted the common written examination every year 2 times for requiting the various posts like;.clerk and po and specilist officers in 19 normalized banks.

    The notification will be released in official website or daily news papers or employments news, presently there is no notification regarding the IPBS exam.

    Required Requirements:

    For this posts required educational qualifications are you must completed the graduation from recognized university or

    You must completed the 10+2 with minimum 55% of marks from recognized secondary board or

    You must completed the 10th with minimum 60% of marks from recognized board.

    And also required age limit i.e the minimum age limit should be 18 years and 30 years and there is not available age relaxation.

    Selection Processor :

    The selection processor is based on the written test and personal interview,apart from first conducted the written test and this test consists of 5 sections follow bellow;..And total questions are 200 and total marks 200 are divide in to every section 50 marks.
    • Reasoning 50marks
    • English language 50 marks
    • Numerical ability 50 marks
    • General awarness 50 marks
    • Computer knowledge 50 marks
    Apply Processor :

    For this examination the application from will be available at official website and download application by paying the 200 rupees at any online centers or banks.50 rupees application form for SC/ST category candidates.

    My friend IBPS conducted Common Exam for 19 public sector Banks. The IBPS conduct Exam for Clerk, Probationary officer and many other post for these banks.
    These 19 public Sector banks are as follow :-

    There are two types of IBPS exams.

    One is PO
    Other is clerks

    For PO's age criteria is:
    You should have a degree(Without backlogs),which is recognized by government of India

    Upto 35 years for SC/ST
    Upto 33 years for BC
    Upto 40 years for Physically Handicapped(PH) and
    Upto 35 years for ex service men

    For clerks age limits are:

    You must have min.60% in tenth OR

    min.55% in your Inter OR pass in degree from any recognized University of India.

    For general category : It's between 18 to 28 years.
    Upto 33 years for SC/ST
    Upto 31 years for BC

    Hi Buddy,

    IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.

    For any entrance examination or competitive examination we should check whether we're fulfilling the eligibility criteria or not. IBPS conducts it's examination twice every year. It conducts a Common bank exams for 19 public sector banks except for the SBI and its associates banks.

    Eligibility Criteria :

    1. You must be Citizen of India.
    2. You must have completed degree in any of the streams from a recognized university.

    The age limit is given as 20 to 30 years for general category students. though there is some relaxation given to reserved caste students of the upper age limit.

    For SC/ST the relaxation in upper age limit is :: 5 years
    For OBC the relaxation in upper age limit is :: 3 years

    The exam can be taken as many times as one desires and their no limitation for it.

    Exam Pattern For IBPS PO Exam :



    IBPS will print the Score Cards for each of the qualifying candidates and will send the scorecards either by Registered or Speed post to the candidates at their correspondence address specified at the submission of the online application.

    After you have obtained the IBPS score card you can use this scorecard and apply for all the 19 banks and without any written examination you can simply prepare for the interview.

    IBPS had recently concluded IBPS PO entrance exam on 18th of sept 2011. The results have been announced recently, another PO examination is on june 17th, as per the new notification released.

    This is an organization which is Responsible for Conducting all the Bank Examinations all over India through State wise.

    Once you get Qualified in the entrance examination conducted by this Institution, then you are eligible for a specified post in a corresponding Bank which is allotted by the same institution.

    And coming to your Age Limitations,

    Your Age must be Min 20 years.
    And your Max age must be 30 years only.

    Hi,

    IBPS Satnds for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and it is board that conducts exam to recruit candidates for the post PO, Clerk and Specialist offciers. The exam is named as Common Written Examination.

    To appear for the exams you need to have some eligibility criteria:


    For the post of a clerk your age must be between 18 years and 28 years and you must have completed your 10th Standard with a minimum of 60% and must have completed your 10+2 with 50% from a recognized board. You must be a citizen of India.

    For the Post of a PO your age must be between 21 years to 30 years. Upper age Relaxations Applicable for SC/ST and OBC. You must complete your graduation with any discipline from a recognized university. you must have Knowledge about Computer Skills.

    Exam pattern:

    Objective type: 200 questions 225 marks , 150 minutes, 0.25 Negative Marking
    Subjective type: 1 Question Essay, 60 minutes, 25 marks

    Information about IBPS Examination :

    IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection and it is conducts the Common written examination for the post of Clerical cadre or Bank PO. Those who cracked the IBPS Examination with good marks, will get the score card from IBPS and the validity of score card of IBPS is 1 years from the date of issued and with the help of score card you are eligible directly for Interview in 19 Public sector banks. You have to fill the application form of particular banks and if you shortlisted then you can appeared for Interview for Final selection.

    If you have completed your 10th examination with minimum 60% Marks then you can appeared for IBPS Examination. If you have not scored 60% Marks in your 10th examination, then you can apply for this examination on the basis of your 12Th examination and you have to secured minimum 50% marks in your Intermediate examination. To apply for IBPS Clerical examination your age should between 18 to 28 years, upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

    If you have completed your Graduate degree course then you are eligible for IBPS Bank PO Examination, To apply for this examination your age should between 20 to 30 years and you have to complete your graduate degree course in any discipline from a recognised Board. Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

    For this year IBPS Bank PO Notification was already Published and the Online Registrations was already started. You can only fill the application form Online Only, No other mode of applications should be accepted. You have a choice to pay the fees Online or Offline Mode. If you choose offline mode, then you can pay the fees by CBS Branch Directly or Pay the fees through NEFT.

    If you have Debit card/Credit card or Net Banking facility then you can pay the fees online Only while filling the online application form.

    Eligibility Criteria to apply for Clerical cadre position:

    Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) exams are for getting jobs into Private and Government Banks.

    Basically there are 2 types of IBPS exams.

    These are given as under:

    --> Bank Clerk Exam

    --> Bank PO exam.

    The required age criteria for these exams is 18-28 years of age for General category.
    SC/ST candidates are provided with age relaxation.

    Apart from age the other necessary criteria for Bank Clerk exam is as under:

    --> The candidate must be a citizen of India.

    --> He should have completed 12th in any stream.

    --> He must be familiar with computer and related software such as MS Word, MS Excel etc.


    The other necessary criteria for Bank PO exam is as under:

    --> The candidate must be a citizen of India.

    *the age limits is 18 - 28 year
    *for SC/ST there are few year relaxation in age

    Candidates age should be 21 to 30 years for Open Category. OBC SC ST Candidates have age relaxation as per govt rules

    For appearing in IBPS Exam you will require the following eligibility :-

    >>Your minimum age should be 18 years.
    >>Your upper age limit should not be above 28 years.
    >>If you are appearing for IBPS Clerical post then your minimum educational qualification should be 10+2 passed out with 60 narks.
    >>If you are appearing for the IBPS Clerical exam then your minimum educational qualification should be Graduation passed out with 60% marks from recognized university.

    However if you have cross the upper age limit then also you will able to appear in this exam but for this you should belong from the reserved category.
    The details for age relaxations are as follows:-

    >>If you comes under the obc category then you will get 3 years of age relaxations.
    >>If you comes under the sc/st category then you will 5 years of age relaxations.

    The questions in this exam will be asked from the five sections.
    These sections are:-

    >>Verbal and non verbal reasoning.
    >>Numerical ability and data Interpretation.
    >>General awareness.
    >>English.
    >>Basics of Computer.
