Hi friend...The minimum educational qualification required to apply for IBPS PO examination is graduation in any discipline from recognised institution/university...Age limit to apply for IBPS PO examination is 21-30 years and the age relaxations are ->5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates ->3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates ->10 years age relaxation for Physically Handicapped candidates...So,you can apply for IBPS PO examination after the completion of your B.TECH and the selection process is written test followed by personal interview...ALL THE BEST...

IBPS - Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.It conducts the Common Written Exam for Clerk and PO every year for the following Banks

Only those candidate have completed graduation degree are eligible for IBPS PO exam.There are no percentage criteria for IBPS PO exam.The candidate age must be in between 20 to 30 years.

Pattern for IBPS PO Exam:-

Reasoning Ability - 50 objective type questions for 50 marks
Quantitive Aptitude - 50 objective type questions for 50 marks
English Language - 40 objective type questions for 40 marks
General Awareness with Special Reference of Banking Industry - 40 objective type questions for 40 marks
Computer Knowledge - 20 objective type questions for 20 marks

Descriptive Paper on English Composition (Essay, Precis, Letter Writing etc)

No , Final year candidate are not applicable for IBPS PO Exam

Am sorry friend to say you that you are not eligible for the IBPS PO exam because you still persuing your b.tech.
As per the rules of IBPS those candidates who are studying / or who are in the final year are not eligible for attending the examination conducted by the IBPS , even you are not eligible for the IBPS clerical exam untill you complete your btech.
Even you have percentage less than 60% also don't hesitate to apply after completion of your b.tech.

As far as your query is concerned i am sorry to say that the final year graduation students are not eligible for IBPS PO exam.

The main requirement for eligibility is that you should have completed your graduation by the time of appearing in exam or the interview.

The graduation may be in any discipline.

There is no issue with that.

But you should have completed it.

There should not be any pending backlogs etc.

Apart from that you must be aging between 20-30 years.

Your nationality should be Indian.

You should have a good knowledge of computer.

So if you really want to go for the IBPS PO exam first of all complete your graduation.

You can start preparing for it right now.
