Punjab National Bank Clerical Exam

Punjab National Bank conducts the Clerical Examination for the recruitment of aspirants to fill in the Clerical grade vacancies arising in the bank. Those who clear the written test and personal interview thereafter can expect employments as Clerks in Punjab National Bank. The test is carried out in several centers in India. Aspirants can appear for the test in their adjacent test center. The bank carries out the clerical test in accordance with the openings emerging within.

Structure and Pattern of the Punjab National Bank Clerical Exam

The test comprises of 2 parts – an objective and subjective. In the multiple-choice part, there will be questions on numerical and logical ability, English language and common awareness. Questions on banking awareness will also be included in the first part. Current affairs, letter writing and synopsis writing questions will be asked in the explanatory part. The test will last for a time period of 180 minutes.

Qualification Criteria for the Punjab National Bank Clerical Exam

Graduates in any discipline can apply for the PNB Clerical Examination. However, they should have scored 50% marks in the Bachelors’ degree. Only those who are in the age group of 20 – 25 are qualified to apply for the test. There is a relaxation in marks and age for SC/ST, OBC, PWD’s and ex-service men. Working knowledge in MS-Office is also a pre-requisite to apply for the exam.

Application Procedure for the Punjab National Bank Clerical Exam

Applicants can submit the online forms by logging on to the official website of the Punjab National Bank and following the set of instructions mentioned therein. They can remit the examination fees through Cash Challan in any Punjab National Bank branches. There is no other option to apply for the PNB Clerical test other than the online procedure.
