Punjab Admission MCA Common Aptitude Test

Punjab Admission MCA Common Aptitude Test is carried for the selection of deserving candidates for MCA course. The Exam is carried out by Punjab University to fill up the vacant seats for MCA course in Colleges affiliated to the same. The score of the entrance test is also valid for Colleges affiliated to Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjabi University, Patiala and Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar.

Structure and Pattern of Punjab Admission MCA Common Aptitude Test

The Entrance Exam is carried out in two sections. The question paper includes questions from topics such as Numerical Ability, Reasoning, General Knowledge and English language. The total time allotted for the entrance test is 3 hours. Each question carries four or five answers. The student has to select the right one among them. The first section of the test should be completed within 2 hours and 15 minutes. There will be total of 150 questions in this section. The second part includes 50 questions. The time allotted for completing the test is 45 minutes.

Qualification Criteria for Punjab Admission MCA Common Aptitude Test

The students who have completed their graduation can apply for the admission test. They should have studied mathematics as a subject either in graduation or in 12th class.

Application Procedure of Punjab Admission MCA Common Aptitude Test

The application form for PAM CAT can be collected through

The filled application form must be submitted by enclosing a DD amount of Rs. 1000/- . Reserved categories are offered with a fee exemption of Rs. 250/-. This fee structure is applicable for those who submit the application through online method. Those who submit the application through post have to pay a total amount of Rs. 1600/-.
