    Procedure to write TANCET exam?

    i'm doing my final year i will like to write tancent exam what are the procedure to do for it?

    HI FRIEND

    The Tamilnadu Common Entrance Test is an eligibility examination for studying post graduate courses like M.E., M.Tech., M.Arch., M.Plan., M.B.A. and M.C.A. in colleges of Tamil Nadu, India.
    This examination is conducted by Anna University, Chennai.

    Eligibility

    For MBA: Graduates from any discipline.
    For MCA: Graduate from any discipline with maths as a core subject at +2 level.
    For M.C.A./M.Tech./M. Arch./M.Plan: Details can be found at [//www.annauniv.edu

    Application Forms

    The applications are common for all courses. Candidates have to submit only one application form. The cost of application form for any one programme is Rs.300/-(Rs.150/- for Tamil Nadu SC/ST Candidates). If, the candidate is desirous to attend more than one Entrance Test, for every additional programme, he/she has enclose an additional Demand Draft for Rs.300/-(Rs.150/- for Tamil Nadu SC/ST candidates) along with the filled application form.

    The application form can be obtained in two ways.
    1:In Person: on payment of Rs.300/-
    2:The application form can be had from the website www.annauniv.edu/tancet2006.
    3: By Post:By sending a Demand Draft of Rs.330/- and Rs.180/- for Tamil Nadu SC/ST Candidates in favour of The Director, Entrance Examinations, Anna University, payable at Chennai obtained from any Nationalised bank.

    The body responsible for conducting TANCET is Anna University. TANCET stands for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test. Students who aspire to enroll for MCA or M.Tech or MBA or M.Arch or M.E or M.Plan can apply for the test. The test is conducted at various centers through out the country.

    Starting from the issue of TANCET application form, TANCET admission process needs a number of other criteria to be met to ensure admission to the TANCET colleges.

    TANCET 2013 eligibility criteria for TANCET exam 2013 would be the same as the previous TANCET exams. Eligibility criteria for different programs differ. Before taking the exam, be sure of what are these criteria and do you meet these criteria as well.

    For MBA you should have completed the degree program in a 10+2+3/4 years' pattern or a degree in a 10+3(Diploma).
    Same eligibility criteria follows for MCA as well.

    For the M.Tech & ME programs through TANCET 2013 you should have a BE. /B.Tech in the discipline that you are applying your post graduation in.
    Candidates in their final year of graduation examination can also apply.

    For M.Plan/ M.Arch should have a bachelor's/master's degree in planning or architecture. Candidates in their final year of graduation/ post graduation examination can also apply.

    Admission process/ Registration for Entrance Test –

    You can register for the entrance test in any one of the modes given below.

    Spot Registration –
    You can appear in person at the Co-ordinating Centers shown under item 8 with the following documents:
    1. Copy of X Std. or equivalent mark sheet
    2. Copy of XII Std. mark sheet or 3 years Diploma certificate
    3. Cash (or) Demand Draft.
    4. The SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu have to produce a copy of the
    5. Permanent community certificate (card format) for availing fee concession.

    Internet Registration –
    You can register through internet by filling-up the application form, downloading it and send it to the address shown under item 10 with the following enclosed:
    1. Copy of X Std. or equivalent mark sheet
    2. Copy of XII Std. mark sheet or 3 years Diploma certificate
    3. Demand Draft.
    4. An attested copy of the permanent community certificate (card format) issued by the competent authority of Government of Tamilnadu (for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu).

    Entrance Test Fee –
    For candidates who register in person, a demand draft for ` Rs. 500/- for general category and Rs. 250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu)drawn in favor of “The Director, Entrance Examinations, Anna University,” payable at Chennai, obtained from any Nationalized Bank or cash, should be submitted along with the filled-in application, as the entrance test fee for any one of the programs M.B.A. (or) M.C.A. (or) M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan.

    The application form is common for all the three entrance tests. Candidates have to submit only one application form. A candidate applying for more than one program has to pay Rs.500/- for general category and Rs.250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil nadu) for each additional program. A single demand draft is sufficient for one or more programs.
