After B.Tech you can apply for technical officer position in Indian Navy. Notifications for this position will be published in the official site of Indian Navy. You can apply for this position on the basis of your marks in B.Tech course. If you get short listed, you will be directly called for Interview. SSB conducts Interview in two stages. First stage will include Intelligence Test, Picture Perception and Discussion test. Those who clear this stage need to appear for second stage. Psychological testing, Group testing and Interview are included in the second stage. Medical test is the last stage for those who clear both stages of Interview. Those who pass in medical examination can join for training directly.

Can i joint the INDIAN NAVY after completing my B.E in Electrical stream from GUJARAT TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY?

You can join Navy accademy through qualifying the CDSE .

CDSE : Combined Defense Services Examination which is conducted by UPSC evry year two times.

For CDS examination only graduates are eligible to apply .

For Indian Navy the essential required eligibilty is as :

B.Sc degree ( PCM group)
or B.E. Or B.Tech.

Age limit : the candidates must have attained minimum 19 years and maximum 22 years.
