    Procedure to clear the Civil Service examination of UPSC after completing my B.Tech (EEE)?What is the Right time to start the preparation ?

    I m doing my BE electrical.and i am in 2nd year
    and my aim is to clear CSE ,so what is the full procedure to clear it and what type of books to start study with at this stage.

    pls answer in detail

    First of all to appear for the civil services exam you should be minimum of 21 years of age and not more than 30 years and also should be ab graduate or in the final year of your graduation .If you satisfy the above criteria then you can appear for the exam .Now coming to exam it consists of three parts which are the preliminary exam ,main and the interview parts .The preliminary exam is an objective type consisting of two papers of which one is general knowledge and the other is the csat which stands for civil services aptitude test ,if you clear this exam then you have to appear for the mains exam where you have to choose subjects of your choice along with the general paper and the exam is written,i will attach this years notification to give you the list of the subjects and also the idea of the syllabus of those subjects .
    as for as the preparation is concerned start by making the subject which you want to take as choice very strong and really being an master of it,you should also take some kind of coaching that will really help you

    You can appear for CSE after completing my B.Tech (EEE) and from May 2011 to April 2012 is the Right time to start the preparation.

    hi friend, yes can write upsc exams. You have prepare all the subjects in the syllabus. Study regularly. graduation must be finished.

    civil services exam is conducted by UPSC. for these exams first a candidate must be graduate in any field. than after he/she is eligible for these exams. for more details of civil services exam is on the web site of UPSC

    hello, the right time to attend for the civils examination is after complition of your b.tech.(electrical and electronics engineering) course.at that you are in a position to reach minimum age to write civils examination and eligible to write the civils examination..
