    Procedure to become financial or economic research analyst?

    Dear sir,
    I'm a 27 years old working professional in a broking firm Kolkata from last one year as a RM. I joint just after MBA done with dual specialization in finance and marketing from ICFAI university Tripura. At present, I sell all kinds of financial product for the company despite my will because I wish to work as equity research analyst or any kind of financial or economic research analyst for which I enrolled in CFA program from the same university and cleared 3 groups out of 6 till now. I did my graduation and post graduation in Economics with 1st Div. and 2nd div. respectively.

    so kindly suggest me the way, How can I turn my dream in to reality?

    Job Responsibilities
    - Work as part of a team of economists engaged in collecting and analyzing data and forecasting
    macroeconomic and financial conditions
    - Contribute to writing, editing, and producing research publications and client presentations
    - Assist with research for the firmís managed investment portfolio
    - Assist with business development


    Minimum requirements:
    - Bachelorís degree in economics or related field with extensive economics coursework
    - Masterís degree strongly preferred
    - Outstanding academic record from high-ranking institution(s)
    - 1 to 3 years of working experience in economics, banking, finance, business research, or related areas
    - Strong communication skills and, especially, excellent writing and editing skills
    - Flexibility in working in rapidly changing environment with shifting priorities and deadlines
    - Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively
    - Computer literacy
    - High degree of competency at mathematics and data analysis


    Experience with any of the following is a plus (but not required):
    - Tracking and analyzing macroeconomic data
    - Writing for a professional audience
    - Conducting investment research
    - Marketing, sales, or managing client relationships
    - Website development or other computer programming skills
    - Social media and web video creation
    - Interacting with high-level finance professionals
