– History, Sports, Geography, Environment, Civics, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc.

(b) Verbal Ability in English
– Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary.

(c) Numerical Ability
– Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit & loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple interest.

(d) Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test
– Verbal Skills and Spatial Ability.

Previous Question Papers of AFCAT :

AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test and this is conducted by the defense service under the india air force examination for requiting the permanent commission and short service commission for the officer's post in different branches of indian air force.

So requiting these posts the selection procedure is based on written examination and interview, apart from first conducted the written test and this containing the objective type question paper with multiple answers and here negative marks for every wrong answers.

- - > Numerical ability
- - > Verbal ability (English)
- - > General Awareness
- - > General Knowledge
- - > General Aptitude

So if you want these posts in indian air force you need to qualify the written test and interview conducted by the SSC and for written test download bellow attachments.

Eligibility -

you must Complete Bachelor's Degree of Minimum Three years Duration.
Final Year Students also Eligible.

Exam pattern -

The AFCAT Question Paper will have 100 questions. All questions will be of three marks each. For every correct answer the candidate will get three marks and for every wrong answer one mark will be deducted under negative marking. The total time allotted for the paper is two hours.

Question in AFCAT will be based on following sections...

Verbal ability.
Numerical ability.
Reasoning.
General awareness.
Aptitude.

AFCAT stands for Air force Common Admission test and this examination is conducted by Indian Air force for various posts namely.

=> Flying Branch
=> Technical Branch
=> Ground Duty Branch

As a Graduate and Engineering candidate, you are eligible to enter the Flying branch through the Air Force Academy.

To apply for Flying Branch you have to complete your Bachelor’s degree with 60% Marks from a recognized University and must have complete your Intermediate examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory subjects. Your age should between 19 to 23 years.

For Technical Branch, you have to complete your 4 year Engineering course in Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) or Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical) Branch and age should between 18 to 28 years.

You can also apply for Ground duty Branch, if you have completed your graduation in any discipline or in Commerce. Age should between 20 to 23 years.

You have to prepared for this examination as per the syllabus and pattern, there are total 4 sections in AFCAT examination. The Questions asked from Verbal ability, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, General awareness.

The duration of this examination is 2 hours. There are total 100 questions in this examination and each carry 3 marks and for every wrong answer 1 marks will be deducted.

Exam Syllabus:

=> General Awareness: History, Sports, Geography, Environment, Civics, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc.

You will Not get AFCAT examination previous papers from any websites because AFCAT will not give paper to candidates after examination.

They submit the answer sheet as well as question paper both after the examination.

So, you will only get the sample papers from the Internet otherwise you can purchased it from the book stores. If you need more details then you can check the official website of IAF.
