    Is it possible to write CDS exam while studying 2nd year graduation course?

    Dear Sir/Madam

    i m pursuing Gradution 2nd year and i want to do CDS ( COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES )
    How is that posible...And now i m working with Travel Field.
    Kindly give me suggetion........!!

    Sorry to say that 2nd year graduation degree holder are not applicable for CDS exam.

    CDS exam is conducted by UPSC twice time in a year.

    Educational Qualification:-

    1. For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy : Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

    2. For Indian Naval Academy : Degree in Engineering for CDSE and Degree in Engineering or B.Sc. ( with Physics or Mathematics ) for NCC entry.

    3. For Air Force Academy : Degree of recognized University ( with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level ) or Bachelor of Engineering.

    Age Criteria:-

    19-24 Years Indian Military Academy
    19-22 Years Naval Academy
    19-23 Years Air Force Academy
    19-25 Years Officers’ Training Academy

    No, you are not eligible for CDS Examination while pursuing your 2nd year degree course, because only Final year graduate candidate are eligible for CDS Examination and you are in your Pre-Final year, So you are not eligible for this year CDS Examination.

    CDS stands for Combined Defence Academy Examination, This examination is conducted by UPSC Twice in a year and to apply for this examination you have to complete your Graduate degree course and your age should between 19 to 25 Years.

    CDS Examination is Conducted for the recruitment of these 4 Respective Academy and those who cracked CDS Examination are eligible to Join any one of the Academy :

    ~~ Army academy
    ~~ Navy academy
    ~~ Airforce academy
    ~~ Officer Training academy

    The Notification of this year CDS (i) Examination was already declared and the last date of apply for this examination was already Over. If you are Interested then please wait for next year Examination Notification and the fill the CDS Application form Online and if you need more Information then check official website.

    From this year onward all the UPSC Application form will be availiable online, It means that you are only fill the CDS Application form Online Only, there is no offline application form Facility from this year.

    Age Eligibility :
    --------------

    ~~ For IMA : Your age should between 19 to 24 Years
    ~~ For OTA : Your age should between 19 to 25 years
    ~~ For Air Force Academy : Your age should between 19 to 22 years
    ~~ For Naval Academy : your age should between 19 to 23 years.

    No Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates in Defence.

    If you have study Maths and Physics as a compulsory subjects in your Graduation then you are eligible for all the Academy.

    If you have not study these subject in your Graduation, then you are only eligible for IMA and OTA.

    So, please complete your Graduate degree course first and then you are eligible for CDS Examination.

    You must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disease to apply for CDS Examination. The examination is Objective and there are 3 papers in Indian Military Academy (IMA), Naval Academy, Air Force Academy Examination:

    ~~ English
    ~~ General Knowledge
    ~~ Elementary Mathematics

    For Officers' Training Academy, you have to cracked these 2 papers :

    Age should be 21-30 years

    Now,you are not eligible to apply for CDS exam.To apply for CDS exam,you should have completed or appearing for final exam of Graduation degree in Engineering/with any stream from a recognized university and your age should be between 19 to 22 years.

    CDS exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year twice to take qualified students into defense service like Indian Air Force,Indian Navy and Indian Army.

    CDS exam notification will release on October and June month every year and exam will held on February and September month every year.

    *To write this examination you must follow some eligibility conditions before applying to the exam


    NO... it is not possible to apply for the CDS exam in 2nd year you have to complete your graduation course or you can also apply in final year of graduation course

    Eligibility conditions

    --> Nationality :You must be a Citizen of India or

    -->Bhutan or

    -->Nepal



    Age Limits

    -->You must be born not earlier than 2nd January, 1988 and not later than 1st January, 1994 only are eligible.

    Sex and Marital Status :

    -->You must be Unmarried male

    -->For Naval Academy-Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1991 and not later than 1st January, 1994 only are eligible.


    -->These certificates are required to be submitted only after the declaration of the result of the written part of the CDS examination 2012.

    --> No other document relating to age like horoscopes, affidavits, birth extracts from Municipal Corporation, service records and the like will be accepted.

    -->The expression Matriculation / Higher Secondary Examination Certificate in this part of the instruction includes the alternative certificates mentioned above.


    Note 1 :You should note that only the Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation / Higher Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate on the date of submission of applications will be accepted by the Union Public Service Commission and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted.

    CDS stands for COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES EXAMINATION.It is conducted by UPSC.If you are studying in 2nd year of graduation then you are only eligible for the Air force academy moreover if you have passed your 10+2 with physics,chemistry and mathematics.

    This examination is Conducted by UPSC, Twice in a year.

    The Recruitment of examination will be based on these Academy :

    * IMA (Indian Military Academy) : You have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline from a recognized University and your age should between 19 to 24 Years.

    * For Naval Academy : You have to complete your Graduate degree course with Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects and your age should between 19 to 22 Years.

    * For Air Force Academy : You must have to complete your Graduate degree course with Maths and Physics as a compulsory subjects and your age should between 19 to 23 Years.

    * For OTA (Officers Training Academy) : You have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline from a recognized University and your age should between 19 to 25 years.

    How to Pay the CDS Examination Fees :

    The application fees of CDS Examination is Rs 100 and you have to pay the fees through :

    * Pay the fees by SBI Debit/Credit Card Online

    * Pay the fees through SBI Net Banking

    * Or Direct Submit fees in SBI Branches near by your area.

    After Pay the fees, You are eligible to fill Online application form of CDS, So, please wait for the Notification and then fill the application form Online.

    There is No Offline Facility from this year, So please fill the application form Online and if you need more Information then check official website : http://upsc.gov.in

    No you are not eligible to apply for CDS examination while your pursing in the Second year of degree course.

    To apply for this examination the candidate have a minimum qualification is graduate degree or pursing in the final year of degree course and then only candidates are allowed to sit for this examination.So you can't apply for this examination.

    CDS means Combined Defence Service examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission as namely CDS I and CDS II.This year CDS I examination was already completed and next notification will be publish in the month of June in the official website as well as employment news papers.

    CDS examination is conducted for recruitment of Army,Navy,Air force and Officer Training Academy examination.To apply for these examination the candidate must have a minimum requirement is completed graduate degree or engineering of a recognized College or University or Deemed University and those who are appearing in the final year of degree course can also eligible to apply for this examination.

    Age limits for CDS examination :- the candidate must have attained minimum 19 years and maximum 25 years and the age limits is differ from post to post.Every Post have a there own age limits and there own education qualification for CDS examination.

    So first complete your graduate degree and then apply for CDS examination.

    CDS-Combined Defense Services.

    Eligibility Criteria For CDS:

    1) For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy : Degree from a recognised University or equivalent.

    Graduates with first choice as Army / Navy / Air Force are to submit proof of graduation provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB Interview at the SSB.

    If you are studying in the final year Degree course and have yet to pass the final year degree examination can also apply but they will be required to submit proof of passing the degree examination to reach the Army HQ / Rtg.

    Age Limit:

    1) For IMA-Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1988 and not later than 1st January, 1994 only are eligible.

    2)For Naval Academy-Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1991 ( 2nd January, 1989 in case of NCC Naval Wing ‘C’ Certificate holders ) and not later than 1st January, 1994 only are eligible.

    *For admission to IMA, Naval and Air Force Academy on or before 13th November, 2012.

    *For admission to Officer’s Training Academy, Chennai on or before 1st February, 2013.

    Hi dude,

    Sorry dude you can not get in to CDS while pursuing your Graduation , you need to complete your graduation.

    CDS stands for Combined Defense Service.

    Under CDS exam you have diffrent posts like:- Indian Military/Indian Navy/Indian Air force.

    To apply for Indian Military exam you need to have complete Graduation from recognized university.

    To apply for Indian Navy you need be completed B.sc with Physics & Math`s or Graduation in Engineering !

    To apply for Indian Air Force you need to complete Graduation from Recognized university !

    Age Criteria also varies from post to post.

    For the Indian Military your age need to be between 19 to 23 years.

    For the Indian Air force your age need to be between 19 to 23 years.

    For the Indian navy your age need to be between 19 to 22 years.

    And you need to be Physically & Mentally fit from this posts.

    So as you are still in 2nd year of your graduation first complete it and then apply for CDS !

    CDS i.e Combined Defence Service exam :


    This is conducted by the union public service commission under the defense service and this is inviting the applications for various posts under this entrance exam;..
    • Indian Military Academy or IMA
    • Naval Academy,
    • Air Force Academy,
    • Officers Training Academy or OTA
    So above mention entry levels required educational qualifications and other qualifications are different for different posts follow bellow;..

    Required Requirements :


    Educational Qualifications:

    For IMA and OTA required educational qualifications are you must completed the degree from recognized university or equivalent.

    For Naval Academy and Air Force Academy required educational qualifications are you must completed the b.sc with physics and maths or bachelor of engineering.

    Age:

    For IMA required age limit should be between 19-24 years and unmarried male candidates only apply for this test.

    No,you can not write CDS exam while pursuing graduation 2nd year.
    The basic eligibility for writing CDS exam is that you should be graduate in any discipline.
    Also,your age should be between 19-24 years.
    You should be unmarried male/female candidate.
    You should be citizen of India.

    No , you can't write CDS exam while studying 2nd year graduation course . Because only passed students of graduation course as well as final year students can apply for CDS Exam . Other detailed criteria for CDS Exam is given below...

    Indian Military Academy

    You should be unmarried .
    Your age should be between 19-24 Years .
    You should have Degree from a recognized University .
    Only male candidates are eligible for exam .

    Naval Academy

    You should be unmarried .
    Your age should be between 19-23 Years
    You should have Degree or B.SC from a recognized University .
    Only male candidates are eligible for exam .

    Air Force Academy

    You should be unmarried .
    Your age should be between 19-24 Years .
    You should have Degree from a recognized University .
    Only male candidates are eligible for exam .

    No, you can't write CDSE in 2nd year. You can write in final year of your graduation.

    CDSE stands for Combined Defense Services Exam done by UPSC every year twice

    Indian Military Academy(IMA) Exam :
