    Yes you can appear for IAS exam.Indian Administration Service exam is held once in year, this exam is part of Civil service exam and exam is conducted by UPSC.

    Eligibility criteria for IAS exam:

    Candidate should have complete graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university.
    Age should be between 21 to 30 years for General category candidates,21to 33 year for OBC category candidates,21 to 35 years for SC/ST category candidates.

    Number of attempts:

    4 attempts for General category candidates.
    7 attempts for Obc category candidates
    Unlimited attempts for SC/ST category candidates.

    Important dates for IAS-2012 exam:
    Indian Administration Service(Preliminary exam):
    Issue of application form from 4th Feb 2012 to 5th March 2012.
    Exam will held on 20th May 2012.
    Indian Administration Service (Main Exam):
    Exam will held on 15th Oct 2012.
    Yet notification details,were not update,i hope they will be updating notification after preliminary exams.

    Cost of application form: Rs.50/-

    IAS Stands for Indian Administrative Service and to become IAS Officer you Have to complete your Graduate degree course and after completing B.Tech , you are eligible to apply for UPSC Civil services examination. This examination is conducted by UPSC Every year in two stages, Preliminary and Mains.

    This examination also Called CSAT and it stands for Civil Services Aptitude Test. So, You have to cracked the Preliminary examination first, Only then you are eligible to appear for Main examination, Main examination was Descriptive and You have to choose the subjects in this examination as per your Graduation. Preliminary examination was Objective and there are 2 Papers in this examination and the duration of Both the examination was Same. The CSAT has two compulsory Papers of 200 marks each and of two hours duration each. All questions are of objective type and the CSAT marks will not be carries to the Main Examination.

    The Notificaion for CSAT will be carried my all major newspapers of India or also in the UPSC Official website in the Month of February.

    Eligiblity Criteria :

    >> To apply for this examination, you have to be a graduate in any discipline form a recognised University.

    >> Final year graduate candidates are also eligible to apply for this examination.

    >> If your age should between 21 to 30 years, then you are eligible to apply for CSAT.

    General candidates will gets 4 attempts to cracked this examination, OBC Candidates will gets 7 Attempts and No attempts for SC/ST Candidates.

    You have two Options to fill the CSAT Application form - (I) Online (II) Offline.

    The examination fees of CSAT was Rs 100 and you have to pay the fees in Post offices (If you apply Offline) Otherwise pay the fees through Credit card OR Through net Banking (If you apply Online).

    The Notification of Next year Civil services examination will be Published on the employment Newspaper or in the UPSC Website on 04/Feb/2012.

    The last date of apply for this examination was 05/March/2012, and the examination will be held on 20/May/2012, So please wait for the Notification and then apply for this examination Online.

    **there is no percentage criteria is required for exams.
    **age limit:-
    For general candidates 21 to 30years.
    for BC candidates 21 to 33years.
    for Sc/st graduates 21 to 35years.
    Attempts:-
    for general 4 times
    for BC 7 times
    for Sc/st no limit.
    the cost of the application for IAS exams(provided by UPSC) is RS.30/-.

    Yes you can appear for IAS exam.This exam is held every year and conducted by UPSC
    .

    Just you need is to fullfill the eligibility criteria for it:

    You should have completed the graduation with any stream from a recognized university.(There is no restriction of minimum marks).
    Your should not be less than 21 and more than 30 years for General category.(3 years relaxation for OBC candidates and 5 year for SC/ST).
    You can only sit for IAS exam 4 times if you are from General category.
    (7 times if you are from OBC and unlimited times if you are SC/ST).

    The dates for IAS 2012 exam has been declared.
    The application form is of Rs.50/- only.

    Dear Aspirant,
    Yes it is possible to give IAS entrance exam after passing B.tech graduation degree. The degree should be from a reputed one college. No percentage is required in your degree. Any stream degree holder are eligible for giving the IAS entrance exam.
    The interested candidates can fill the form online or offline. The exam fees is Rs. 50 only.

    yes this is possible.

    Yes you are eligible for I.A.S exam after completing B.Tech.
    I.A.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C.
    I.A.S exam is consist of two exam:-
    > Primarily Exam
    > Mains exam.

    Eligibility criteria:-
    >pass the graduation from recognized university.
    > Age limit:-
    For open category:-21-30year
    For OBC category :- 21-33year
    For ST/SC category:-21-37 year
    > Number of attempts:-
    For open category:- 4
    For ST/SC category:-7
    > Must be citizen of India.

    Eligibility Criteria For IAS:-

    Qualification:-

    Bachelorís degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification

    Age limits :

    21-30 years as on 1.7.2011. (Upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs, OBC)

    No. of permissible attempts :


    4 Attempts for General.

    7 Attempts for OBC.

    No limit for SC/ST.


    Fee :

    Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) (No fee for SCs/STs/Physically disabled only)
