DU offers a lot of courses.

Some of the under graduate courses are:-

    1.B.Com.

    2.B.Com honours.

    3.Bachelor of Business Management.

    4.B.A. Economics.

The admission in most of the courses is based on 12th marks while there are entrance tests conducted for some of the courses.

There is a reservation policy in DU for OBC,SC,ST,PH,VH students.

The cut off marks for each category differs.

Here you have not specified the course in which you are interested to take admission and your caste.

So,its very difficult to tell whether you will get admission in your interested course or not.

So,please specify below your caste and course.

However,if you are from general category, there is very very less chance that you wil get admission in any college.

    Thanks.

Re: Is it possible to take admission in Delhi University after scoring 51% in 12th?

In my opinion and to the best of my knowledge, you would not get admission in any course( not even hindi(honors)) after qualifying higher
secondary with 51%.The reason being that most of the colleges of Delhi university have a very high percentage for giving admission to the candidates.
So, i think that you should apply to other universities for getting admission. You can work hard from now onwards and can score a good percentage
    in graduation.

No. dear there is no possibility that you'l get admission in Delhi university with this percentage.
Cut off for all the courses is generally very high in 90's.
And candidates who score 85% get admission in evening classes.

yes , you can take admission in DELHI UNIVERSITY DISTANCE EDUCATION Courses.

Students who have Score at least above 40% marks are eligible to apply in B.com (pass) and in BA correspondence course in Delhi university open learning .

You may also be eligible for many other courses in Delhi university open learning.

Dear friend , its impossible for anyone to take admission in Delhi university after scoring just 51% marks in 12th , because Delhi University is one of the most renowned university in India which generally releases cut-off above 85% in 12th.

Re: Is it possible to take admission in Delhi University after scoring 51% in 12th?

    Dear Friend ,

I Think You Have Committed some mistake in asking your question here because you don`t have specified that in which stream you want to take admission in Delhi University.

Otherwise , i would like to tell you that Delhi University is considered amongst the Top Universities in India for pursuing Graduations. There are approximately 80+ colleges in Delhi university.

All these colleges require higher percentage of marks from students who have recently passed 12th in order to think about admission in DU.

And as you have scored just 51% marks in 12th , in my opinion its very hard for you to get admission in Delhi University in any stream because as a report from last 5 years , the general cut-off of DU colleges is above 80%.

This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want.
