Yes, it is possible, provided you had chemistry as one of the subjects along with botany (in your case) and other subjects in your graduation.

Until and unless a student studies B.Sc in Chemistry (Hons.) or B.Sc (Gen) with one of the subjects as Chemistry, one cannot apply for M.Sc in Chemistry.

This is because, a completely novice to chemistry cannot cope with chemistry suddenly at masters level.
If one has a basic knowledge of it, either in honors or combination, one would have a fair idea of the subject, with the help of which one can successfully comprehend the subject in M.Sc.

One also needs to score a minimum specified percentage on one's graduation.
The percentage specified id different for different institutes.
The required marks may be asked for aggregate in all subjects, or only in chemistry in case of B.Sc in general, or may be both.

Hope, you also had Chemistry as one of the graduation subjects.
Or else, you almost have no chance to get into M.Sc Chemistry.

    All the best!!
