    Is it possible for me to give NET Exam in Commerce if I have done MBA in finance?

    i hads done mba in finance bt nw want to give net xam in commerce....is it posible for me to give net xam in commerce....plz as soon as possible

    Yes, Definitely You are eligible to apply for NET Examination !!

    NET Stands for National Eligiblity Test and this examination was Conducted by UGC Twice in a year, The examination was Held in June and December Every year, The June NET examination was already completed and Those who have missed the June NET examination and Interested to apply for December NET, Then please wait for Few days because the NET Examination Notification was Going to be declared soon in the official website in this Month i.e on 26/Sep/2011.

    The examination of NET Was going to be held on 24/Dec/2011.

    And If you are Interested in NET Examination then you need to fulfill the Given eligibility Criteria -

    >> You must have completed your Post graduation/master degree course in any discipline form a recognised University.

    >> You must have scored minimum 55% marks in your Post graduation degree course.

    >> Final year Graduate candidates are also apply for NET Examination.

    Eligible candidates may apply for the Lectureship post and Junior Research fellowship Post.

    There is No Upper age eligibility to apply for Lectureship, But for JRF Your age should not be more than 28 years, Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

    >> So, You have completed Your MBA Course in Finance then you are eligible to apply for NET Examination and You have also eligible to opt Commerce subject in your NET Examination.

    So Please prepare for NET Examination according to the Syllabus, here i am uploading the Commerce syllabus, So please check the Syllabus and Keep practice according to the syllabus, And Please also Download the previous year Commerce papers form the official website and for More Information please check the Official website -

    Dear friend,

    Those person are completed their MASTER degree from any recognized university with above 55% marks are eligible for NET exam.

    You have MBA degree so you are eligible for NET exam.

    The university must be hold UGC approval otherwise your degree is not allow for NET exam.

    You have completed your M.SC in chemistry through distance course . If your distance university is UGC approved then you are applicable for NET exa.

    The candidate for SC/ST/OBC/PH are required only 50% in masters degree.

    In the case JRF your age must be between 18 to 28 years.

    For lecturer exam ,the minimum age is 19 years . Their is no restriction for maximum age .

    Yes, certainly you are eligible for NET..! Because you have done PG course no matter what you studied in your PG..! If you have completed it successfully then you are eligible for NET..


    Eligibility for NET::

    You must have PG with min.55%

    There are 2types of Posts in NET:
    1)Lectureship post(LS)
    2)Junior Research Fellowship(JRF)

    There is no upper age limit for "Lectureship post"

    You must be within 28years for "Junior Research Fellowship"(5years age relaxation for SC/ST,BC and PH Candidates)

    If you are in Final year of your PG also eligible to write NET

    Structure and Pattern of NET Exam::

    # It consists of 3Papers
    * Paper I
    * Paper II
    * Paper III
    # Both Paper I and Paper II are OBJECTIVE TYPE. Paper III is DESCRIPTIVE TYPE.
    # Paper I contains
    - General Knowledge
    - Current Affairs
    - Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Methods For (50 questions) 100 Marks
    # Paper II contains
    - Your Core subject for (50 questions) - 100 Marks.
    # Paper III contains
    - Your core subject in PG and will have 4Sections.
    Section 1- 5x5= 25 marks (30 words)
    Section 2 15x5=75 marks (30 words)
    Section 3- 5x12= 60 marks (200 words) and
    Section 4- 1x40= 40 marks(1000 words)
    Total for 400Marks.





    # Paper I and II exams are conducted during Day time and Paper III will be conducted afeternoon on the Same day.
    # There is no negative marking for objective questions.

    Application Procedure for NET::

    ->> You have to apply online before the specific date announced by UGC.

    ->> Two print-outs of filled in online application form,exam attendance slip and admission card at the respective centers (with fee receipt and category certificates) are the documents required for applying to this exam.

    ->> This will be of 450rs/- for General and 110 rs/- for SC/ST.

    ->> You have to pay this through SBI Challan form Via Online.

    ->> The last date for submission is on 25th October'2011

    Exam Dates for NET::

    --> June Exam has already finished the next exam is on 24th Dec'2011
