It really depends on what you want to do. If you want to teach high school or work as a technician somewhere, you can do that with a bachelors in most states. A masters degree will let you teach community college. Some labs and NASA hire people with a bachelors or masters to do data analysis and instrument work (with a physics or astronomy degree). With a bachelors or masters in engineering or computer science, you could work for a contracting agency. If you want to do original research in space science, you'll need a PhD in physics, astronomy, or astrophysics - the best way to prepare for this is by majoring in physics and spending your summers doing internships with professors and national labs to get experience for grad school and do decide if this is really what you want to do with your life. People with PhDs in the space sciences work for colleges and universities, national labs and observatories, and NASA.

MSC ORGANIC CHEMISTRY IS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT STREAM FROM SPACE SCIENCE .YOU MAY HAVE YOUR ELIGIBILITY BUT THE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE TRACK STUDENTS ARE VERY LESS AND ALSO THE SUBJECTS CONCERNED ARE VERY DIFFERENT .SO YOU MAY HAVE BETTER OPPORTUNITIES IN YOUR OWN STREAM .SO IT IS NOT A DECISION I FEEL.
