Merchant Navy:

>> After graduation you can apply for any Merchant Navy post. As a student of Master of Business Administration you are can be hired for all the posts unless you have completed your graduation in science stream. Basic requirement of any Merchant Navy officers is navigational knowledge or else ship maintenance and its engineering.

Eligibility Criteria;
* You must be an Indian
* You must have passed 12th examination with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as the main subjects for eligible for the post of Deck Cadets.
* You must pass 12th with 55% from a recognized university without any backlogs.
* You must have passed 3 year graduation course for Nautical Officer or another posts which suits for their qualification from recognized university.
* You must have passed 4 year graduation course for Engineer Officers and other related field officers or Engineers.
* You must be unmarried male candidate.

Physical Requirements;
* You must be Physically and Mentally fit.
* Your height must be 163cm or above
* Chest should be 86cm.
* Eye sight should be normal. But with the 2.5 glasses eyesight also allowed.

>> To be a member of this National Organisation You have to crack certain entrance examination depending upon the post you want to get.

Entrance Exams for Merchant Navy are:
*Indian Navy Artificer Apprentices Exam
*Indian Navy Dockyard Apprentices Exam

Selection Procedure;
* You must qualify in the Written Examination conducted by the particular officials.
* HR Interview

I am through with my post graduation(PGDM) in the fields of Operations & Marketing. To my query before you replied that I can join merchant navy as an international trade manager . I just want to know that what to do and how to go for it ????????
