hello,this is yogi from tirupathi,I saw your question.with 10th class qualification you cannot get a good job,because 10th is minimum eligibility for every one,In my opinion you have to do your 12th after passing you can apply for your dream job because some of the institutions offered a degree in that job,it helps your carrer after getting(after joining the job with 12th qualification) improvement in your job.

it is not possible to join merchant navy after completing 10th standard. one will need a Bsc degree in mechanical or marine engineering to enter the navigational and engineering fields of Merchant Navy. However, in some cases, those who have completed their 12th standard with PCM are eligible to join as Deck Cadets.

good thinking dude...i am very glad to know that u have planned goal of urs...bt its not possible for u join merchant navy soon after u compleete ur 10th,..u have to opt fo rany degree olding course to enter in navy,,,u have to be qualified for the degree dourse first then u can go for 4-month training,,finaly it will be the day ur dream come true...goahead ,dont think too much..keep r self cool...glad to see u sooon as NAVY MERCHANT..good luck...

Atleast 12th with maths is required for joining and better if u do it from science stream..u have to qualify an exam from UPSC ok...so work hard 2 years more and then go for it..work 4 the nation,die 4 ur country live like a legend!!!! Al d best..

Yes, it is possible to join merchant navy after 10th but that is not for higher posts.If you wanted to join at higher post or wanted a bright future then i think you should complete your 12th first and then get into merchant navy.

Yes you can join the Merchant Navy after your 10th class but according to me take science non-medical in your 12th class and after that if you will join then you will find more scope in Merchant Navy as well as in any other field. Merchant Navy is also good but as I listen from any other members that there in no long time future you will work only 7-10 years if you can do otherwise this is not possible.
