Yes it is completely possible for you to do graduation at the age of 48 years.The following is the eligibility criteria :
ELIGIBILITY :

• You should have passed 12th class.
• You should have passed 12th class with minimum percentage of 50%.
• You should have an age of 18 or above 18 years.
• There is no upper age limit provided.

You can do your graduation from IGNOU[Indira Gandhi National Open University]
The minimum qualification required for admission is 12th pass or completed BPP from IGNOU
Minimum duration of the course is 3 years
Maximum duration of the course is 6years
There is no age limit for doing the course
If you are willing to do BA then the course fee is rs 3,300.

You may get educated at any age, so i will suggest you to not lose faith in Education,

There are many Universities, which will provide you with a Graduation degree to you in whatever specialization you want like :

You can't join graduation course at the age of 48.
This is true that there is no age of studying but in the age of 48 this is not possible to complete graduation course.
In the age of 48 even government companies don't allow to sit in the interview. You can't sit in UPSC exam. You can't get government job in this age so how can you join graduation.

my brother in law could not pass out English Subject in his BA(Psss) from School of Correspondence & Continuing Education, Delhi in the prescribed period of clearing all the subjects? Is there any university in which it is allowed that he can just give one english paper and get his BA degree after passing out this one subject?

After completion of your graduation you will go for post graduation.....ALL THE BEST FRIEND.......

At first there is no limitation for doing any course at any stage or at any time thus you are eligible for taking admission in graduation.
But you will be onlu eligible for doing simple plain graduation.
You will not be eligible for doing any technical degree if you are of 48 years,however you can do these courses through distance learning,there is no boundation regarding this matter.
There are various colleges that will allow you to take admission in their college if you have any experience in technical field and if you have your backgroung in NCC camp.
There are also other reasons through which you will easily able to get admission ,these are:-May be if you are sports persons,Government employees,Railway employee.
But it will be very hard to fing such colleges/universities which publish notification related to this matter for taking admission.

The simple method is you should continue your education through distance mode.
There are various Institutes/colleges that provides the facality of distance learning.
some of the important ones are:-

You can go for many universities and also can do correspondence graduation from following universities:

As you know my friend that there is no age limit or restriction to get educated.
So surely my friend you can get a graduation degree at the age of 48 just like the above person in the picture.
There are many colleges or Universities which will help you achieve this milestone.

In fact you can do graduation in any field for example you can do:

--> BCA
--> BBA
--> B.E/B.Tech etc.

So you can surely do that.

I passed(Graduation) I year and Seocnd year in 1993 and 1994. But in 3rd year passed 2 papers only in 1995 after then i apeared for exam but not cleared left 2 papers due to some reasons so now Can i give again 2 papers or Should I graduation fresh. Please reply. (Sunil Kumar)
