No, it's not possible to go for NDA after 10th. You must have inter with PCM background to get eligible in all wings(3wings) in NDA.

Also you must have the physical requirements for NDA like mentioned below.

Not you cannot appear for the NDA Entrance Exam after your 10 Standard. To appear for the Exam you need to first complete your 10+2 from a recognized board. The notifications about the exam are published in the employment newspapers or it is updated in website.



To appear for the exam the age limit is from 16.5 to 19 years. If you are willing to opt for Army wing then you need to complete your 10+2 with any discipline from a recognized university. Dear friend,
There are certain rules for the selection for NDA. You are eligible if you satisfy the eligibilty conditions as governed by UPSC
Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1993 and not later than 1st July, 1995 are eligible.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
(i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.
So You have to wait till You complete your class 12th.

or appear the in exams of national defense academy (NDA)


i would propose you to attend coaching for NDA simultaneously while your doing you intermediate ....

in that way by the time you are done with your inter you will just have to walk in and write your NDA.

NDA stands for national defense academy which is a civil service course.NDA exam can be given after passing 12th board exams.As you had passed just 10th standard so you are not eligible for such exams.
NDA exams are conducted twice a year as :-
NDA-I
NDA-II
To crack NDA exam one have to work hard very much in both 11th & 12th satndards.Firstly choose any stream of your choice & then pass 12th with good marks in same.After passing 12th standard you can apply for nda exams.

No , you cant' apply for national academic examination after 10 class.To Appear for NDA Exam you need to have at least completed the 10+2 class exam from recognized board or school .By appearing in NDA Exam you can join these following branches of Indian defense Services ....

You must be citizen from India
You have to complete your 12th standard from any recognized board.
Your age should not more than 19 years and not less than 16.5 years..
If you are interested in Indian NAvy should have the Mathematics and physics as a compulsory subject..

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.Girls are not eligible for NDA exam.

Selection procedure:

The selection procedure can be based on the following phases.

Psychological Aptitude test
Intelligence test.

So you must complete your 12th.Then only you can go for NDA examination.

As you know,
NDA stands for National Defense Academy.

NDA is the academy through which you can get into Army, Navy and Air force wings.
For this you need to appear the NDA Entrance Examination.
This Examination is conducted by UPSC every year.
This Exam is conducted twice in an Year.

NDA Exam is conducted in two modes :

NDA (I) &
NDA(II).

NDA awards you a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science or Computer Science on completion of your training.

Educational Qualifications for NDA :

For Army wing of NDA :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and for the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Age Limits :-You must have attained a min of 16 and half years for registering NDA .
You must not exceed the age of 19 years.

You must be an unmarried male .
You must not marry until they complete their full training.
A candidate who marries subsequent to the date of his application, though successful will not be selected for training.

So as per the above mentioned statements you are not eligible for NDA.
Because you have not completed your 10+2 and your age might not satisfy the criteria levels.

So first complete your Intermediate with a good score and then you can apply for NDA.

The syllabus for the Examination include the following topics :

Mathematics
General Ability Test
Physics
Chemistry
General Science
History, Freedom Movement, etc.

Sorry its not possible to go through the NDA exam after completing your 10th.You can only apply for the NDA course if you have completed or pursuing your 12th from PCM(Physics,Chemistry,maths) stream.
How to Apply-
You should go through the 12th in PCM Stream and then you can apply for the exam.Even if you are pursuing 12th class ,you can apply.You have two options either to apply online or through post.
You may apply online using the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in. Detailed instructions for filling up online applications are available on the above mentioned website.
The applications are available in the central/head post office of your city.The duly filled application form should then be mailed in the special envelope supplied with the Information Brochure to the following address:-
