Is it possible to get job in ONGC or DRDO by securing good rank in GATE and DRDO exam? I unfortunately got failed in Maths in 2nd semester (which I cleared now). Will this hinder my chances?

i am sowmya i am studying 3rd year chemical engineering . all my semester results were good n above 60% but unfortunetly i got failed in maths in 2nd semester now i cleared that subject i am willing to join ongc or drdo so only i took this branch. but i got one back known so is it possible to get job in ongc or drdo by scoring good ranking in gate n drdo exams please tell me is it possible to get job there
