MBBS stands for Bachelor of medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.

Eligibility criteria:

you should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized any state board of india.

You must have studied biology as a compulsory subject to take up MBBS.

You must have scored atleast 60% aggregate in your 12th board.

You are a given maximum 2 attempts.

my friend if you have done B.Sc then you are not eligible for MBBS exam.

If you have done your 12th class with PCB subjects then you are eligible for MBBS exam.

The Medical Council of India (MCI) controls medical Education in India.

MBBS course is a medical course which is of 4-1/2 yrs.MBBS course is very difficult and competition to get an MBBS seat is very tough.

Eligibility for MBBS course:

1.You should have passed 12th class with PCB(Physics,Chemistry,Biology) subjects.

2.You should have scored 50% marks.

3.Your age should be less than 21 yrs.I foyu have done B.Sc then your age must be greater than 21yrs,then you are not eligible for MBBS course.



And to get admission in medical college you have to appear for following entrance exams:

CPMT-CBSE Pre-Medical Test

AIIMS Entrance Exams – All India Institute of Medical Science Entrance Exam

AIPMT- All India –Pre Medical/ Pre Dental Entrance Exam

AFMC- Armed Forces Medical College exam

is there minimum percentage in bio-chemstry to join mbbs? If i selected for mbbs which yr i can join?

i was finished B.Sc.,MBC (Biochemistry,Microbiology,Chemistry) in year 2006-2009 but now i have intrest for studing MBBS i got 55% of marks in Degree any chance for joining into MBBS in this acadamic year

Definitely you can do The MBBS course.Because for doing the MBBS course, one have to complete the +2 from a recognized board.But as you have completed your graduation then It means you have completed your +2.And you are looking from a bio section.You must have Bio subject in your +2.
