my friend,
sorry,you can not do M.tech after completing the B.sc in computer science.
For M.tech ,you should have to complete the B.E or B.tech.
then after the apply for GATE entrance exam.
after qualifying the GATE, you can do M.tech.

Hi friend,

It is possible to do M.tech. You have two options to pursue M.tech. First one is you have to qualify B.Tech by joining into the course as Lateral entry. Second Option is you can complete M.Sc so that you are eligible to pursue M.Tech. So Make a wise choice between the two better options.

I am Sorry to say you that you are not eligible for M.Tech program with your B.Sc qualification.

In order to do M.Tech you must have the following Educational qualification

1. you must have completed your Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Architecture / Technology

2. you must be a Bachelor Degree holder in Engineering / Architecture / Technology ( Post B.Sc / Post Diploma )

3. Master Degree holder in any branch of Science / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer applications

4. If you are in second or fourth year of Four year Integrated Master Degree Program ( Post B.Sc ) in Engineering and Technology.

So dude as your B.Sc Degree is a 3 years course you are not eligible for M.Tech program.

sorry friend but you cannot directly go for MTECH...you have to work out a little for that....since mtech can only be done after you have completed a 4 year bachelor degree in engineering,architecture or a master degree holder....so either firstly you go for btech or complete your master degree that is M.SC and than go for MTECH.....all the best....

No there is no chance to do M.Tech after completing B.Sc from CS.
For pursuing in M.Tech either you have done B.Tech and have qualify GATE entrance exams and than you will be eligible to do M.Tech.
And the second option for you is Either you do MCA and than qulify gate paper than you will be eligible for it.

I am a B.TECH degree holder.Now,i am in school teaching.I want to pursue a master degree(except M.TECH,because i'm from w.bengal and there is no such university which provides distance M.TECH degree.If anyone knows about distance M.TECH degree,pls inform me.)If i go for M.SC(COMP.SC)/MCA,am i eligible?which one will be better for me M.SC(COMP.SC) or MCA?Time is also my concern,as M.SC-2yrs,MCA-3yrs.

You must complete the following courses to do M.Tech

• MCA
• B.Tech
• B.Sc

You have not done B.Tech , now you can do any of the courses in MCA, M.Sc

For doing M.Sc you must complete B.Sc and pass the PGCET exam conducted by the univerisity to get admission
There are many entrance exams like state level and central level exam for MCA
You can pass any of the exam and take admission in MCA

You must B.Sc with atleast 60% to get admission in MCA

In India the top MCA colleges are IIT's , NIT's , state univerisities etc

After completing M.Sc or MCA, you must apply for GATE exam to get admission in M.Tech course
